The Cart House is very attractively situated on the 3000 acre Trigon Estate. It is one of three cottages in a small peaceful hamlet in a delightful rural area with walks directly from the house. Two golf courses and the RSPB site at Arne within 5 minutes drive. Sandy beach of the small resort of Swanage is within 10 miles. This property has, as its name suggests, been converted from the original cart house for the Trigon estate and it dates back to 1850. It is built with an attractive combination of brick and wood with lovely large windows. The Cart House has delightful gardens of almost an acre.

At Swanage visitors can enjoy swimming, boating, fishing and diving as well as the traditional entertainments of ‘Punch & Judy’ and pedaloes. The steam railway is a wonderful feature of the town and links the resort with the nearby picturesque village of Corfe Castle.
The Bakery Cottage is a lovely traditional stone property which provides spacIous, comfortable accommodation for 8/9 in 4 bedrooms. Traditional features such as beams and a wonderful stone fire place have been retained. On the ground floor there is a lovely large sitting room extending across the width of the cottage with a number of windows and a door opening on to a stone terrace. This room is furnished with comfortable sofas and chairs, a television with Freeview/DVD and a gas effect wood burning stove which provides a lovely central focus in colder weather. There is a separate dining room with French doors opening outside and a light and spacious fitted kitchen with an electric oven and grill, gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washer dryer. Stairs lead up to 3 attractive bedrooms – two double rooms and one twin room plus a tiled bathroom with a bath, basin and WC and a separate tiled shower room with a built in shower, basin and WC. A further flight of stairs leads up to a large double bedroom which extends across most of the width of the property (a single bed is also available so that the room can be used as a twin/triple). Cars can be parked in the village road in front of the cottage. Regular bus service within 2 minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include Corfe Castle, the Swanage Steam Railway, boats on the river at Wareham, Monkey World and The Tank Museum.

Langton Matravers is a rural village with pretty stone cottages within a short walk of the sea on the Southern side of Purbeck in Dorset. This charming and traditional village has a historic church, attractive stone buildings and an excellent local public house which puts on local events including local music.
The coastline below Langton Matravers is well known for the dramatic landscape and abundance of wildlife. It is a popular spot with walkers who stop off while walking along the coastal path and some take the time to have a swim. There is a good local walk to Dancing Ledge where there is a man made swimming pool dug into the rocks.
It's for anyone who likes to live life adventurously - you don’t have to be a seasoned explorer to enjoy a Go Ape experience! Go Ape offers up to three hours of tree top fun. It’s a great way to get outdoors and have some fun. The Moors Valley GoApe Country Park is within a 40min drive of Purbeck and is a great day out for the whole family. goape.co.uk
The Isle of Purbeck is a peninsular of land located in the South of Dorset and is famous for its sandy beaches, beautiful countryside and the Jurassic Coast World Heritage site. The sea surrounds Purbeck on three sides and nowhere is for from the coast. Apart from the small town of Swanage, the Isle of Purbeck is made up of small rural hamlets and traditional villages.
The North side of Purbeck is dominated by a wooded and heathland nature reserve and where it meets the water of Poole Harbour it attracts a great deal of bird life. The East coast of Purbeck is known for the two long sandy beaches at Studland and Swanage but also for the limestone pillars at Old Harry's Rocks. Along the South Coast is the start of the Jurassic Coast which is characterised by impressive coastal formations like Dancing Ledge and Durdle Door but also for quiet coves and peaceful beaches for swimming.
Much of Purbeck has been declared an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and the vast majority of Purbeck remains in the hands of nature. This is ideal for walkers and cyclists who are free to explore large areas of countryside and take in a number of wondrous locations.

Two dogs are welcome and there is a secure enclosed patio area at the rear of the house. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms.
