While sorting through final photographs for the 2012 Isle of Wight holiday cottage brochure we came across this adorable photo of “fluffy cows”, as they are commonly known, in a field near Borthwood. They look like a little family with a curious younger cow out in front and exploring. It isn’t a photo we have found a place for in the brochure but we decided it should be shared with the world in some way so here it is.
Holiday cottages near Borthwood and other cottages on the East of the Isle of Wight can be viewed at our East Isle of Wight Cottages page.
We have a new picture of the view from Beaulieu Cottage on the Isle of Wight.
The view from Beaulieu Cottage stretches over fields, Sandown Golf Club and down to Yarverland. In the distance there are the white cliffs of Culver Cliffs and the sea.
Beaulieu Cottage has a conservatory which means that one can eat breakfast or relax with a glass of wine and enjoy this view from a comfortable chair. Alternatively, you may want to get to grips with the view and follow the footpath which takes you across to Culver Down.
