Our holiday availability pages for 2011 and 2012 holidays on the Isle of Wight are now online and show cottages available for school holidays and half term holidays from now till next summer.
Autumn Half Term Cottages – This October half term runs from the 22nd October till the 29th October and is a great chance to take an Autumn holiday with the family. The Isle of Wight woodlands are beautiful in the Autumn like Borthwood Copse near Sandown where there is a chance to see Red Squirrels.
Christmas Cottages – Our Christmas week holidays start on the 21st or 22nd of December and run till the 28th or 29th of December meaning you can enjoy the whole Christmas period at one of our Isle of Wight cottages.
New Year Cottages – The New Year availability runs from the 28th or 29th December over New Year till the 4th or 5th January.
February Half Term Cottages – This is the first half term school holiday of 2012 and a good off peak holiday period to enjoy the Isle of Wight’s mild winter climate. Walking, cycling and eating are top priorities of many of our guests during this period and many of the paths, cycleways, pubs and restaurants are at their best at this time of year. The February or Spring Half Term runs from 11th February to the 18th February.
Easter Holiday Cottages – There are three main weeks for the Easter holidays and we have an ‘availability grid’ to help you pick your Easter holiday cottage on the Isle of Wight. Easter is when the holiday season starts in earnest and there are many more attractions and organised events to see. Our Easter availability pages show holiday availability for the weeks of the 31st March, 7th April and 21st April.
Summer Half Term – The summer half term is 2nd June to the 10th June. This early summer week is a chance to see the Isle of Wight bathed in sunlight, go to the beach or go walking and cycling. The family organised events are in full swing and you may wish to try the Goodleaf Tree Climbing which will happily thrill the family with a day in the canopy. Blackgang Chine, Robin Hill and the Isle of Wight Steam Railway are all open and putting on events.
