Sneak Peek at Apple Tree Cottage Isle of Wight

Welcome to the first look at Apple Tree Cottage on the Isle of Wight.  This charming thatched cottage is located on the South West of the Isle of Wight in the historic village of Brighstone and within a short walk of Brighstone Beach, the village shop and the Tennyson Trail which runs across to the Needles.

Apple Tree Cottage is within a short drive of the attractions on the West of the Island including Freshwater Bay, Yarmouth, The Needles Lighthouse and the many coves and beaches along the South West Coast. Family attractions such as Blackgang Chine are reached via a short drive along the military road (road running along the west coast) and here there are rides and organised amusements. The beaches on the South and East coast are easily reached and town of Ventnor is a good nearby town to visit in the evening for dinner.

Apple Tree Cottage has three bedrooms and sleeps 6 people. There are two double bedrooms and one single room which makes it ideal for a larger family of two couples wishing to holiday together.

New Isle of Wight and Purbeck Cottage Map

The map search for Isle of Wight cottages and Purbeck Cottages in Dorset has been updated and improved based on feedback from our guests.

The improvements start with a cleaner viewing window with less distractions and things getting in the way. The cottage map can be simplified even more by a new feature which allows you to hide the cottage search bar and view the map full screen.

We also have a new cottage focus map page for each cottage which allows you to view a full screen version of the mini map available on each cottage page. This Map for Apse Wood Cottage allows you to see a zoomed in location for the cottage as well as some of the neighbouring self catering holiday homes for you to consider.

Bigger photos are also now featured on desktop and tablet displays to give you a better idea of the character of each cottage in the map search.  On mobile devices the map loads in portrait and landscape to give different levels of detail when you turn the phone.
