Self-catering holiday accommodation in Wootton

The small town of Wootton is located in the north of the Isle of Wight, between the popular towns of East Cowes and Ryde. The area is known for its beautiful natural surroundings and for the wonderful birdlife that visits the estuary. Not far from the beach at Seaview, you are also within easy reach of all that the East Coast of the Isle of Wight has to offer.

The town has a number of shops where you can buy groceries as well as a café and excellent farm shop where you can pick up some local produce. For railway enthusiasts, there is a steam railway station in the town that runs between Havenstreet and Wootton which also hosts a number of interesting special events throughout the year.

A short drive away in East Cowes is the former summer residence of Queen Victoria, Wootton House; managed by English Heritage, the house and grounds are now open to the public.
