Self-catering holiday accommodation in St Lawrence

Situated in the South East of the Isle of Wight, the village of St Lawrence is within walking distance of the Victorian-style coastal town of Ventnor. St Lawrence enjoys a seaside location and its beach is made up of fine shingle with patches of golden sand. Dramatic coastal scenery meeting lush areas of woodland is supported and enhanced by Ventnor's warm micro climate, making this a wonderful place to visit all year round. The traditional seafront in Ventnor is full of typical seaside cafes and beach shops as well as a great pub serving food.

The main part of the town is on top of the cliff with its selection of independent shops and restaurants. There are lovely places to visit around Ventnor such as Bonchurch with its pretty village pond, and St. Lawrence and Steephill Cove, with their tranquil beaches and pretty coves, perfect for a beach picnic and afternoon of games. Look out for red squirrels and take a visit to the wonderful botanic gardens. Charles Dickens is said to have written part of David Copperfield at Bonchurch Beach.

Pick up the coast path and take a stroll to St Catherine's Lighthouse or Steephill Cove, all with stunning views across the English Channel.
