Self-catering holiday accommodation in Seaview

The seaside resort of Seaview is situated on the North East of the Isle of Wight and is popular with both locals and visitors, who come from miles around to enjoy its wide views across the English Channel and The Solent. It is filled with a tiny selection of boutique shops and excellent restaurants. The Seaview Yacht Club is a focal point of the area, where keen sailors get together to get on the water.

Walkers will love the walk heading south along the coast that takes you to the peaceful beach at Priory Bay and if you are happier out at sea, head out at low tide to see St. Helen’s Fort, an impressive historical monument managed by the National Trust. Seaview is located on the Isle of Wight coastal path and you will find many walks with beautiful scenery and spectacular sea views, including to Ryde in the North and Bembridge and Shanklin to the south.

There are 3 main beaches at Seaview which extend out from the centre of the village and all within easy walking distance.

Seagrove Bay:
Seagrove Bay is just to the south of Seaview and this long, gently sloping, sandy beach runs for several hundred meters and there is a small cafe and shop for beachside refreshments.
Priory Bay Beach:
Priory Bay Beach is a brisk 20min walk from Seaview around the headland. This sandy beach is known to for its peaceful seclusion and gently sloping sandy beach. There are no facilities at the beach so you will have to bring a picnic or walk back into Seaview.
Ryde Sands at Seaview:
Ryde Sands beach is several hundred meters long and goes all the way to Puckpool Point. The beach is fairly quiet compared with Seagrove Bay at the Seaview end as there are no cafes or facilities behind the beach.
