The North of the Isle of Wight is a very diverse region of the Isle of Wight with beautiful, wildlife rich coastline in the West, a maritime and sailing destination in the middle and a beautiful area of wet lands, estuaries in the East. The North of the Isle of Wight contains some of the Isle of Wight historic gems including Osborne House, Quarr Abbey, and the Newtown Old Town Hall.

The principle town on the North of the Isle of Wight is Cowes which is a popular yachting centre and the venue for the sailing festival Cowes Week. Gurnard, just to the West of Cowes, is a beautiful coastal area with splendid sea views. Wootton, to the East of Cowes is best known for the Estuary which attracts a rich variety of birds.
