The Isle of Wight enjoys a wonderful climate, a huge range of beaches and bays, stunning rural areas and lots of family friendly activites. Outside of the main resorts of Shanklin, Seaview and Ventnor there are also many small villages and rural areas which offer good access to the whole Isle of Wight while ensuring a peaceful and resfull holiday.
Children have an excellent range of activites and events to choose from. The Isle of Wight is an excellent cycling and biking area and family cycling is a great way to see the Island and let off some spare energy. Special activity parks like Blackgang Chine and Robin Hill offer a whole day's worth of activites and there are often things for adults to enjoy too. Carnivals, Fates and special events are on throughout the summer and are very popular with locals and visitors alike.
