This lovely thatched cottage dates back to 1701. It is full of character with exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces. It stands in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' with views of Brighstone Downs. The pretty village of Brighstone village with its tea rooms, public house and village shops is within a 15 minute stroll. The cottage is only a mile from the coast and here there are several quiet sandy coves.

This lovely stone cottage is situated in the small rural hamlet of Bowcombe which stands between the pretty village of Shorwell and Carisbrooke with its medieval castle. Shorwell and Carisbrooke are both within a 5 minute drive and have public houses which are good for meals. The cottage offers easy access to the small bays and coves on the south west side of the Isle of Wight. Brighstone beach is within a 10 minute drive and the larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 20 minute drive.

This picturesque Grade II listed cottage dates back to 1676 and is attractively situated at the end of a quiet lane with a lovely ford and footpath leading to the nearby medieval castle of Carisbrooke. Located in the oldest part of Carisbrooke village which is a conservation area lying within ‘An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The castle is only 5 minutes walk away and can be glimpsed from the garden and main bedrooms. This is a wonderful walking area as within 5 minutes walk of the cottage visitors can join the famous Tennyson Trail which follows the downs westerly towards The Needles.

Dairy Cottage is an attractive stone cottage enjoying rural views and with glimpses of Carisbrooke Castle from the master bedroom. The castle is within a 15 minute walk. The cottage is located at the heart of the Isle of Wight and within a short drive of the coast in any direction. Local walks follow the top of the Downs as far as Freshwater and Alum Bay and enjoy wonderful views all along the way.

Situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of the pretty village of Shalfleet on the west side of the Isle of Wight. The village has a lovely 12th century church, its own village shop and a public house which is extremely good for meals. There is a tennis court which visitors are welcome to use and also an attractive heated swimming pool.

The cottage is in a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading from close to the cottage. The south west coast of the Island, with its many quiet bays, is within a 10 minute drive and the market town of Newport, with its medieval castle, is also nearby. Ferries can be booked at greatly reduced prices.

Shiloh is a Grade II listed barn which has been converted into a lovely 2 bedroom, single storey, cottage. It is situated in delightful countryside between the villages of Godshill and Whitwell and is only a 5 minute drive from the coast. The seaside resort of Ventnor is 5 km away and the sandy beaches of Shankllin and Ventnor are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of footpaths including a wonderful walk along the River Yar which extends from its source in Niton on the south coast to Bembridge, with its beautiful wetland area in the east. The cottage has a secure fenced garden and is well equipped.

Honeysuckle House is situated within a 5 minute walk of the centre of the pretty village of Godshill and is within a 10 minute drive of the sandy beaches of the small resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor. It is also in a good walking area with a nearby network of footpaths over the downs and easy access to cycle routes. This is a semi detached property on an estate of similar properties. It is centrally heated and has been furnished and equipped with care. It has 3 bedrooms - a double, a twin and a bunk bedroom plus a bathroom with bath, built in shower basin and w.c. On the ground floor there is an open plan sitting room and dining area with patio doors opening into the garden. The fitted kitchen is equipped with a electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator with icebox and washing machine. At the rear there is a fenced garden with patio and garden furniture.

Yafford Mill Barn has been architecturally designed to provide lovely light and spacious accommodation to the highest standards for 6 people with three lovely bedrooms and three well equipped Travertine tiled bath/shower rooms. The accommodation is all on one level and has sloping entrances, wide doorways and no problems with steps. There are oak and slate floors throughout, with underfloor heating. The main living area has a wonderful Scandinavian feel, achieved through the use of vaulted ceilings, wood panelling oplus an almost complete wall of glass with two sets of French doors opening onto a extensive patio area. There is a stylish wood burning stove, comfortable sofas and chairs, 42" Smart TV, Blu-Ray player, SKY HD and WiFi available throughout the property.
There is a lovely dining area overlooking the garden; a beautiful fitted kitchen area which is exceptionally well equipped with a ceramic hob, built in electric oven and microwave, refrigerator, freezer and washer dryer. The surfaces of the kitchen are at two levels so that visitors can prepare food whether standing or sitting. The bedrooms are all attractively furnished – one ‘king size’ double room with an en-suite shower room, basin and w.c.; one lovely twin bedroom, and a delightful second double bedroom with French doors opening into the garden. (A ‘bed in a bag’ mattress can be provided to enable two children to sleep separately).There is a family bathroom with a bath, built in shower, basin and w.c. plus a separate spacious wet room with an open shower area, basin and w.c. A Baby Bjorn travel cot and wooden high chair. Heating and electricity without extra charge. Yafford Mill Barn operates a no smoking policy.
Yafford Mill Barn has its own lovely spacious garden with patio and lawn, hardwood garden furniture and Weber gas fired barbeque. The rear garden is fully enclosed and secure with a pretty stream flowing just beyond the fence along one side of the garden. Three cars can be parked in the drive immediately to the rear of the barn. Access is via a gravel farm lane. (Due to the proximity of lakes and the stream children do need to be very closely supervised whilst at the property).
Yafford Mill Barn has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Yafford Mill Barn. Yafford Mill Barn is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

Showell is a small village on the South West of the Isle of Wight. The village has a lovely public house as well as a village shop. This South West part of the Isle of Wight has a beautiful coastline and there is good access by road to the beaches on the South East such as Ventnor and St Lawrence.

The ride starts in Freshwater Bay, joins a cycle track on the edge of Freshwater town going to Yarmouth. The West of the Isle of Wight is best known for its unspoilt nature and dramatic coastline. The areas is far less commercialised and the many of the beaches can be enjoyed almost to ones self. West Isle of Wight beaches include Totland Bay, Freshwater Bay, Compton Beach, Brook Beach and Bembridge Beach.

Yafford Mill Barn is an existing barn conversion, completed in 2010 in a 'New England' style. It does offer very easy access with accommodation all on one level, sloping access points, no steps, wide doors, two levels of work tops in the kitchen and a wet room with grab rails.
Yafford Mill Barn is a self-catering detached, three-bedroomed property with all rooms on ground level. It is situated in a rural location overlooking fields.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
Yafford Mill Barn is accessed by an unmade-up road around 800m long.There is ample parking outside the property, around 6m from the main entrance into the property.
The car parking surface is generally unmade-up, but is flat and level. It is possible to park directly next to the flat, firm and level paved pathway to the side of the property.
The paved pathway at the side of the property is 1.8m wide, and runs to the main entrance and to 3 sets of French doors (see floor plan).
There are four entrances to the property. The main entrance is a side-hung door, 880mm wide opening into the property. It has a level access mobility threshold, there are externally opening French doors to the side of the main entrance, also with a level access mobility threshold, leading directly into Bedroom 3.
There is a full width timber ramp to the externally opening French doors leading into the main living room area.
There are no steps or thresholds within the property.

The property is on one levelThe entrance hallway is around 1300mm wide, narrowing to around 900mm wide. Smooth oak flooring is present throughout the access ways.

Flooring is smooth oak within the living, dining and kitchen areas, level access throughout.There is a television with remote control connected to Sky HD in the living room. WiFi is available throughout.
Bedrooms & Sleeping Areas
Bedroom 1 has a king size double bed, 600mm high, with an under-bed height of 180mm. There is 1.5m space either side of the bed, which is moveable. Flooring is smooth, oak wood. The doorway into this room is 860mm wide.Bedroom 2 has two standard single beds which are fully moveable. Flooring is smooth, oak wood. The doorway into this room is 860mm wide.
Bedroom 3 has a standard double bed which is moveable. Flooring is smooth, oak wood. There are French doors into this room from outside, and internally the doorway into the room is 860mm wide.
All beds are made up with hypoallergenic bedding.
Bathroom, Shower-room & WC
There is a wet room off the main hallway which is fully tiled to the walls and floor. There is a w.c. (470mm high) with space either side for wheelchair lateral transfer. A folding lavatory frame can be made available. There is an open shower area with a fold-down seat and a wash hand basin.There is a bathroom accessed from the main hallway which is fully tiled to the walls and floor. There is a w.c. (420mm high) with around 1m space to the left hand side (when facing w.c.), bath with D-handles, walk-in shower and wash hand basin.
There is an en-suite shower-room to Bedroom 1 with w.c., shower and wash hand basin.
The kitchen is dual level, with worktop heights of 900m, and 770mm. The sink height is 900mm, with wheelchair space underneath the sink and underneath the hob.
There is a wall mounted double oven cooker, with a retractable door to allow maximum wheelchair accessibility.
There is a front loading washing machine/dryer, under counter fridge and separate freezer, and front opening dishwasher.
Flooring is smooth oak.
There is excellent mobile coverage on O2, EE and three networks but vodaphone is patchy.
