This lovely stone cottage is built of Isle of Wight Stone and has been converted from an ancient stone barn. Byre Cottage is situated in a small country lane in attractive countryside. This is a lovely walking area and footpaths lead from close to the cottage to the beautiful downs above Ventnor. Byre Cottage is only 1.5 miles from the centre of the seaside town of Shanklin with its wonderful sandy beach which is popular for swimming and paddling. The neighbouring seaside towns of Sandown and Ventnor are within a 10 minute drive.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

This wonderful property is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. It has recently been converted from a large old granary, the foundations of which date back to the 1700s. A fire in 1889 resulted in much of it being rebuilt. Redway Manor Granary has been renovated with the greatest care and wherever possible original features have been retained. There are beautiful views across the fields and nearby lakes to the downs. The sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

This charming cottage is nestled in the beautiful East Isle of Wight countryside, adjoining National Trust woodland, renowned for its carpets of bluebells; abundance of red squirrels and rabbits. The cottage commands wonderful views towards the sea and Culver Cliffs as well as of the Ventnor Down. Visitors have the freedom to enjoy over three acres of garden and private woodland. The sandy beach of Sandown is within a seven-minute drive.

This pretty Swiss style cottage is situated in the lovely gardens of Ventnor Park. These gardens have sheltered lawns, well kept paths and excellent 18 hole putting green. Nearby footpaths lead up to high ground from where there are beautiful sea views. The sandy beach of Ventnor can be reached by taking a pleasant 5 minute stroll through the gardens and down to the esplanade. Footpaths also lead directly from the cottage to the quiet cove of Steephill and the Botanical Gardens.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

Within 3 minutes of Shanklin's sandy beach - ideal for paddling and swimming. It is only a 2 minute walk from the lodge to the cliff path for beautiful views across Sandown Bay to the white cliff of Culver. Shanklin is a pleasant small resort on the south east coast of the Island with its own small theatre and a variety of interesting shops and restaurants. The Old Village of Shanklin has pretty thatched cottages, tea shops and public houses plus a beautiful chine, floodlit in the evening.

A wonderful beach front property beautifully situated on Ventnor Esplanade within a few steps of the beach where paddling, swimming, boating and fishing can be enjoyed. There are open sea views from the main rooms and a delightful large balcony overlooking the sea.
Woodland Court is beautifully situated in the lovely peaceful coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Isle of Wight. The sea can be glimpsed from the house and an attractive 5 minute stroll leads to Steephill Cove - a wonderful secluded spot with a small beach and some very good fish restaurants. It is one of the hidden gems of the Island. The coastal path is within a two minute walk of Woodland Court and this offers easy access to the small resort of Ventnor and onwards to Bonchurch, Luccombe and Shanklin. There is a lovely beach at Ventnor and the town has a variety of boutique style shops, restaurants, wine bars and public houses. The larger sandy beaches of Shanklin & Sandown are within a 10 minute drive.
Woodland Court is a detached 1970’s style property set in attractive secluded gardens. The main accommodation is all on the upper level as the house has been designed to take advantage of the proximity of the sea which can be glimpsed above the trees from the main living area and double bedrooms. The house has been furnished and equipped with care to provide very attractive and comfortable accommodation of a high standard. It has lovely cream fitted carpets combined with a tiled kitchen and bath/shower rooms. The picture windows make the house feel light and airy. There is a spacious open plan sitting room furnished with a sofa, armchairs and a large flat screen television with Freeview/DVD player/music system; an attractive dining area beside a picture window; a well equipped fitted kitchen with a gas cooker and hob; microwave, dishwasher, refrigerator with ice box and washing machine (freezer also provided). The house has three lovely bedrooms – a spacious double room and en-suite shower room with built in shower, basin and w.c; a second double room and a twin bedroom plus a family bathroom with a bath, basin and w.c. On the ground floor there is a w.c with basin and via a separate door a freezer and storage area for bikes or beach equipment can be accessed. A travel cot/high chair can be provided. Stair gate available. Central heating and electricity are included without extra charge. WiFi internet available.
The house has a lovely large secluded garden at the rear with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Here there is a lawn with shrubs and a securely covered pond. There is also a large area of sloping garden at the front of the property with lawns, shrubs and trees plus parking for three cars beside the house. Nearby places to visit include Ventnor Botanical Gardens and Ventnor Cricket Club which is open for meals and drinks - a 5 minute walk. Bus service also within an easy 5 minutes walk.
Woodland Court is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Woodland Court. Woodland Court is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 18th February 2017 to 30th March 2017 and 28th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
