Sweet Brook forms part of a wing of a superb 17th Century farmhouse built of Island Stone and surrounded by 5 acres of lovely garden and fields. It is situated in attractive West Wight countryside and is within a 5 minute drive of the south coast of the island and the beach at Brook. There are several quiet and charming bays on this side of the Island. Sweet Brook is in ‘An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’ and footpaths can be followed to the nearby Brighstone Downs to join the famous Tennyson trail which extends from Carisbrooke, in the centre of the Isle of Wight, to the Needles on the western tip.

Rocklyn Cottage is attractively situated at Appuldurcombe, on the outskirts of Wroxall and within 2 miles of the south coast of the island. The cottage is within a 10 minute walk of Appuldurcombe House and in a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths leading directly from the cottage to Stenbury Downs, the donkey sanctuary and the nearby picturesque village of Godshill with its thatched cottages, teashops and public houses.

Castle Cottage is very attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute stroll of the sandy beach of Ventnor and the quiet cove of Steephill. At the rear of the cottage is Ventnor Park and paths lead through these lovely gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its mild climate and rare plants.

Ronda is a lovely detached house within a 10 minute stroll of the sandy beach at Totland Bay. It is in a pleasant secluded area with well spaced properties on a quiet unmade lane. Much of the nearby coastal area is owned by the National Trust and it is a wonderful walking area with easy access to the coastal path and delightful walks on the downs with panoramic views.

In the centre of the small rural village of Shorwell on the south west of the island and is only a 5 minute drive from a quiet beach at Brighstone. There are a variety of small sandy coves within a short drive where visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling, boating and fishing.

The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

There are wonderful open views from the cottage and garden across fields towards the downs. The Old Brew House is at the end of a country lane with no passing traffic. There is direct access across the fields to the cycle track which links Sandown to Newport and Cowes. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are only a 15 minute drive away.

This delightful Grade II listed stone cottage has been sympathetically converted from the former stables of the nearby Apse Manor. It nestles within an enclosed courtyard approached through a lovely large arched entrance. The original building dates back to 1695, and period stone door surrounds and lintels can be seen on its south elevation. Deceptively spacious, Groom Cottage has thick stone walls, wooden beams and an attractive appearance with four gables.

Two Mead Cottage is one of a pair of cottages which stand in the attractive rural hamlet of Alverstone and is less than a 5 minute drive from the lovely sandy beaches of Sandown on the east coast of the Island. The cottage is located on a small 12 acre farm which is home to horses, cows and a few free range chickens. The farm is in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and has a charming large pond which attracts ducks, moorhens and the occassional heron.
