Rosemary Cottage is situated on a delightful farm in one of the loveliest parts of the Isle of Wight lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A pleasant ten-minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields leads to the centre of Godshill. This village is renowned for its church and pretty thatched cottage.

Castle Cottage is very attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute stroll of the sandy beach of Ventnor and the quiet cove of Steephill. At the rear of the cottage is Ventnor Park and paths lead through these lovely gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its mild climate and rare plants.

This attractive property overlooks the gardens of Ventor Park and is within a 10 minute walk of the beach at Ventnor and also of the town centre. This a beautiful coastal area and a pleasant walk through the gardens leads to the small esplanade of Ventnor, a small seaside resort. The quiet bay is ideal for swimming and paddling.

This pretty cottage is one of a small group of 5 cottages nestled in an attractive courtyard location adjacent to Ventnor Park Gardens and within a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the park to Ventnor esplanade with its lovely beach and bay. Castle Coach House has been converted from part of the original stables of Steephill Castle and has pretty leaded windows, a lovely bay window, a charming porch and many beams.

The cottage occupies a delightful position on a lovely 12-acre farm, where horses are kept. The farm is surrounded by beautiful open countryside. It is a delightful walking area and visitors can follow footpaths over the Downs from close to the cottage. Great location for exploring the East of the Isle of Wight and only a short drive from Seaview or Shanklin. A nearby public house serves excellent food.

Fodder Stable is on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. From the cottage there are views across the fields to the downs of Ventnor in the distance. This is a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading from close to the cottage towards the picturesque village of Godshill or the coastal village of Niton. There is also easy access to the cycle route which crosses the Island. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a 15 minute drive.

This cottage is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Godshill. It was originally the milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm. The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.
Upper Garden Lodge is tucked away in the beautiful Victorian coastal town of Ventnor on the South coast of the Isle of Wight, and was formerly the coachman's cottage for Steephill Castle. Adjacent to Upper Garden Lodge is Ventnor Park - a lovely park of lawns and gardens with footpaths linking to the coastal path. The property is within a 10 minute walk of Ventnor beach and beautiful bay. A short walk westwards also leads to the quiet beach of Steephill Cove and Ventnor Botanical Garden. There is a fairly level walk to the centre of Ventnor which has a variety of small shops, restaurants, wine bars and entertainments.
Set in a lovely location this delightful first floor apartment comprises the entire upper floor of a traditional stone built house which has been divided to form two completely self contained properties with private gardens. Upper Garden Lodge has been renovated and equipped to a high standard to provide exceptionally attractive accommodation with garden views and also glimpses of the sea from the smaller bedroom. It is centrally heated and furnished in a traditional style. The front door opens into a private hall with a staircase leading up to a charming sitting room with a Chesterfield sofa and armchair in front of a feature fireplace with flat screen television/Freeview/DVD; a bright open plan fitted kitchen and dining area with views of the park. The fitted kitchen is equipped with an electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator with ice box and washing machine. There is a shower room with basin and a separate w.c. plus two charming bedrooms - a double bedroom and a spacious single room (2ft 6ins bed). Please be aware that the access to the single bedroom is fairly narrow. Central heating/electricity without extra charge.
Upper Garden Lodge has a fairly large lawned garden at the front of the property where alfresco meals can be enjoyed on warm summer evenings. Garden furniture is provided. A car can be parked in the gated courtyard at the side of the cottage. Regular bus service within 2 minutes walk. This links with Shanklin railway station for Ryde ferry and trains to London.
Upper Garden Lodge is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Upper Garden Lodge. Upper Garden Lodge is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 18th February 2017 to 30th March 2017 and 28th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
