Comments left in Two Dores Hill Cottage guestbook

July 1-8 2016; Steve and Annie: - "Delighted with the welcome pack - a lovely start. Comfortable king-size bed greatly appreciated- not found in all cottages! Cottage sensitively renovated, with lots of original material retained - we especially enjoyed seeing the little bird nesting in the box outside the kitchen. Many thanks for a nice holiday!"

June 21-27 2016; Helen and Geo: - "A lovely cottage, sensitively restored and refurbished, and ideal for a couple. We loved it. The welcome pack was far more than we would expect and even included a cake - and wine! Everything is of good quality and the kitchen is well equipped to a high standard. It was lovely to have the use of the summerhouse and, had the weather been better, we'd have enjoyed sitting outside. A comfortable bed was the icing on the cake. Thank you!"

Tricia & Derek - 16-22/04/2016 - The first occupants! We were extremely lucky to find this idyllic, beautiful and well-appointed which had just been prepared for letting. The fabric of the cottage was excellent and the thoughtfully stocked contents were both tasteful and of high quality. The provision of a welcome pack of essential items (eggs, milk, bread, butter and even a bottle of wine) further enhanced our initial impressions, as did the comprehensive provisions like coffee, cleaning items and logs. In all a lovely bijou cottage which is in a delightful setting and well situated for the Fishbourne ferry and the many IOW attractions. John and Ann are most friendly and helpful and clearly passionate about their cottages, which have such close family connections and on which they have lavished great attention. A wonderful cottage that we will be visiting again. Rebooked for later this year!
