This lovely cottage is very attractively situated in the charming hamlet of Norton Green on the west side of the island and within a 15 minute walk of the sea at Colwell Bay. Here there is a small sandy beach which is good for swimming, fishing and boating. The other bays of Totland, Freshwater and Compton are within a few minutes drive. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area.

This pretty thatched cottage stands, close to the centre of the small rural village of Whitwell, only two miles from the south coast. Here there are the quiet coves of St Lawrence and within 10 minutes drive is the small seaside resort of Ventnor. Ventnor and St Lawrence are renowed for their mild climate and beautiful botantical gardens. The larger sandy beaches of Shanklin and Sandown are within a 15 minute drive.

Manor Stable is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful South Wight countryside. From the cottage there are wonderful open views across the fields and nearby lakes to the Ventnor downs in the distance. It is a marvellous walking area with footpaths that can be followed directly from the cottage in most directions. There are particularly attractive walks along the course of the river Yar; to the picturesque village of Godshill and to the nearby village of Arreton which has a pub and cafe for meals.

Castle Cottage is very attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute stroll of the sandy beach of Ventnor and the quiet cove of Steephill. At the rear of the cottage is Ventnor Park and paths lead through these lovely gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its mild climate and rare plants.

In the centre of the small rural village of Shorwell on the south west of the island and is only a 5 minute drive from a quiet beach at Brighstone. The cottage stands adjacent to a beautiful 11th century church. A pleasant old public house with a large duck pond is within a 1 minute walk and Shorwell still has its own village shop. There are a variety of small sandy coves within a short drive where visitors can enjoy swimming, paddling, boating and fishing.

This cottage is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Godshill. It was originally the milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm. The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

The castle is only 5 minutes walk away and can be glimpsed from the garden and main bedrooms. This is a wonderful walking area as within 5 minutes walk of the cottage visitors can join the famous Tennyson Trail which follows the downs westerly towards The Needles.
