This lovely thatched cottage dates back to 1701. It is full of character with exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces. It stands in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' with views of Brighstone Downs. The pretty village of Brighstone village with its tea rooms, public house and village shops is within a 15 minute stroll. The cottage is only a mile from the coast and here there are several quiet sandy coves.

Delightful self catering cottage at Totland within a 12 minute walk of the sandy beaches of Colwell Bay and Totland Bay. This west side of the island is a wonderful walking area with easy access to the coastal path to The Needles and marvellous downland walks and bike rides. The centre of the small market town of Freshwater is within a 15 minute walk and this offers a good range of shops, public houses and restaurants plus a sports centre with indoor pool and a golf course with panoramic views. Romany Cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard and an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the dining area. These fires provide a lovely central focus in colder weather. In the warmth of summer three sets of french doors can be opened from the ground floor rooms into the garden giving the cottage a lovely open feel - the garden is a delightful protected spot to enjoy a barbecue and drinks in the sunshine.

Driftwood is within a three minute walk of the beach at Brighstone on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight – a quiet beach where swimming and paddling can be enjoyed. This is “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty“ and a delightful walking area. Driftwood is attractively situated in a small courtyard of cottages. There are coastal or lovely downland views from most of the rooms. It has been furnished and equipped with care to provide lovely accommodation Wifi and telephone available. Ferries booked for preferential prices.

This lovely detached house is very attractively situated, close to the cliff top above Totland Bay, on the west side of the Island. There are sea views from the balcony, bedrooms and dining room and the lighthouse at Hurst Point can be glimpsed in the distance. The sandy bay of Totland where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed is only a 3 minute walk away. This is also a marvellous walking area.

Situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of the pretty village of Shalfleet on the west side of the Isle of Wight. The village has a lovely 12th century church, its own village shop and a public house which is extremely good for meals. There is a tennis court which visitors are welcome to use and also an attractive heated swimming pool.

A pretty thatched cottage in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, close to Winkle Street, in the village of Calbourne. It provides very attractive accommodation with a large garden for 6 people in 3 bedrooms. An ideal base for touring the Isle of Wight. The cottage is in a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading from close to the cottage. The south west coast of the Island, with its many quiet bays, is within a 10 minute drive and the market town of Newport, with its medieval castle, is also nearby. Ferries can be booked at greatly reduced prices.

Apple House is situated on the west side of the island, within a 10 minute walk of the beach at Colwell Bay. Here swimming, paddling, fishing and boating can be enjoyed. Totland Bay is also within easy walking distance. The coastal path from this area can be followed westward to Alum Bay, Tennyson Down and The Needles - a wonderful walking area with panoramic sea views. The centre of Freshwater is also within a 10 minute walk.

Rectory Cottage is close to the centre of the pretty village of Brighstone on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight in 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. It is only a mile from the sea and is in a wonderful walking and cycling area. The cottage has recently been renovated to provide very attractive centrally heated accommodation with a walled courtyard style garden. There are lovely open views across fields to the downs and with glimpses of the sea from the upper bedrooms.

Lovely traditional thatched cottage situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of the lovely village of Brighstone on the south west side of the Isle of Wight. The village is renowned for its pretty centre with several thatched stone cottages. There is also a public house and a small bistro/tea shop. The beach at Brighstone is within a pleasant 15 minute walk. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the coastal path plus the beautiful downs which link Carisbrooke and The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight.
This lovely stone cottage dates back to the 1700’s. It is beautifully situated on the south west coast of the Island – only a two minute walk from the beach. This part of the coastline is renowned for its fossils and is completely unspoilt. Brook Green is a pretty coastal hamlet with a small group of attractive stone cottages. The pretty villages of Brook and Brighstone are nearby. The sandy coves of Colwell Bay and Totland are within a 10 – 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking area and visitors can walk across the Brighstone and Bowcombe downs or follow footpaths along the coast to Blackgang and The Needles.
Therles is a detached cottage which has been furnished and equipped with care in a traditional style. It is centrally heated and provides attractive, comfortable accommodation for 5 people. All heating and electricity free of charge. There is a fitted kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine; a pleasant dining area in a conservatory style part of the kitchen; a pretty sitting room with a comfortable sofa and chairs, a television/Freeview/DVD. Also on the ground floor is a twin bedroom and a bathroom with a bath and built in shower, hand basin and W.C. An open staircase leads up to two bedrooms – a double room and a spacious single room, plus a separate W.C. A trundle bed, high chair, travel cot and stair gate can be provided. Wifi internet can be made available.
Therles Cottage has a delightful secluded garden which is fenced . Garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. The cottage overlooks fields and although it is not possible to actually see the sea from the cottage it is only a few hundred yards away. Therles Cottage is approached by a short pathway beside one of the cottages overlooking the green. Visitors can park by this pathway to bring things into the cottage and at other times can park in a nearby fenced area within a 1 minute walk. The small towns of Freshwater and Yarmouth are nearby and offer a choice of restaurants and shops. Bus service/telephone within a few minutes walk. Public house 15 minutes walk; village shop 1 ¼ miles.

Brook is located between Freshwater and Brighstone in a pretty coastal location and is best known for a long sand and shingle beach. The ride starts in Freshwater Bay, joins a cycle track on the edge of Freshwater town going to Yarmouth. After seeing Yarmouth, with it's castle and boutique shops, the route continues to Totland and Totland Bay, where there is a beautiful beach, and on towards Alum Bay where we turn back towards Freshwater.
