The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
Inland one finds a beautiful rural area with high downs from which panoramic views can be enjoyed. A Botanical garden at Ventnor takes advantage of a warm micro climate found in this part of the Island. View more South Isle of Wight Cottages
