Nearby footpaths lead up to high ground from where there are beautiful sea views. The sandy beach of Ventnor can be reached by taking a pleasant 5 minute stroll through the gardens and down to the esplanade. Footpaths also lead directly from the cottage to the quiet cove of Steephill and the Botanical Gardens.

The sandy beach of Sandown is within a seven-minute drive.

Honeysuckle House is situated within a 5 minute walk of the centre of the pretty village of Godshill and is within a 10 minute drive of the sandy beaches of the small resorts of Shanklin and Ventnor. It is also in a good walking area with a nearby network of footpaths over the downs and easy access to cycle routes. This is a semi detached property on an estate of similar properties. It is centrally heated and has been furnished and equipped with care. It has 3 bedrooms - a double, a twin and a bunk bedroom plus a bathroom with bath, built in shower basin and w.c. On the ground floor there is an open plan sitting room and dining area with patio doors opening into the garden. The fitted kitchen is equipped with a electric cooker, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator with icebox and washing machine. At the rear there is a fenced garden with patio and garden furniture.

This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. It has been converted from the original milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm and the building is thought to date back to the 1700 ‘s. A small riding stables is within a few minutes walk and most of the surrounding fields are home to horses. The centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

Puckaster Cottage is a lovely cottage in an attractive courtyard within the grounds of Puckaster House . The main house is surrounded by six acres of garden with lovely lawns going down towards the sea. There are sea glimpses from some of the upper rooms of the cottage and open sea views from the larger gardens. The sea is within a 15 minute walk and there is easy access to the wonderful coastal path which extends from the village of Niton to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. The small resort of Ventnor is within a 15 minute drive and there is easy access to a number of small quiet bays on the south west side of the Island.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.
This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant 10 minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two good public houses. This is a wonderful walking area. Footpaths lead from the farm to Appuldurcombe and join the extensive Stenbury Trail to the coast at Ventnor. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are only a 10 minute drive away.
Stag Cottage has been skilfully designed to provide light, spacious and very attractive accommodation with beautiful rural views. It has been furnished and equipped with care in a modern style. The front door opens into a beautiful hallway with a central staircase ascending to a lovely gallery that leads to the bedrooms. There is one double bedroom with a modern en-suite bathroom and W.C plus two twin bedrooms. (Travel cot/high chair available). There is a separate shower room with a built in shower and W.C. On the ground floor there is a sitting room attractively and comfortably furnished with sofas, television/Freeview/DVD. WiFi internet is provided at the cottage. The modern fitted kitchen is equipped to a high standard with a range style Esse cooker, electric hob, separate electric oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine and fridge freezer. There is a very attractive dining area by the window. A cloakroom with W.C is also on the ground floor. The cottage is centrally heated and all heating and electricity is at no extra charge.
Guests have a to a lovely fenced garden at the rear of the cottage where visitors can relax and enjoy the marvellous open views. Garden furniture is provided. Cars can be parked close to the cottage. Regular bus service/shop within 10 minutes walk. Beautiful carpets of bluebells can be a joy to see, in nearby woodland, in late April and early May.
Stag Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Stag Cottage. Stag Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

Walk or Cycle to Shanklin - This walk first follows the Stenbury Trail to Wroxall and then the cycle track to Shanklin. To reach the Stenbury Trail from Godshill head out of town along the main road towards Shanklin before turning right after 200 yards onto the trail. Continue up the trail to the Freemantle Gate (photo of the Freemantle Gate) which you pass thought and follow the path which bears left across the fields towards Appuldurcombe and Wroxall. There is a wide flat cycle way that runs from Wroxall to Shanklin. The track starts below the old railway bridge in the centre of Wroxall. If you are walking there is a footpath leading from alongside the bridge to the start of the track but if you are on a bike you must cross the bridge and follow the cycle path signs. Once you are on the track it is clearly signposted all the way to Shanklin. The track runs along the old railway line and the banks on either side are lined with lush vegetation.
