Delightful self catering cottage at Totland within a 12 minute walk of the sandy beaches of Colwell Bay and Totland Bay. This west side of the island is a wonderful walking area with easy access to the coastal path to The Needles and marvellous downland walks and bike rides. The centre of the small market town of Freshwater is within a 15 minute walk and this offers a good range of shops, public houses and restaurants plus a sports centre with indoor pool and a golf course with panoramic views. Romany Cottage is furnished and equipped to a high standard and an open fire in the sitting room and a wood burning stove in the dining area. These fires provide a lovely central focus in colder weather. In the warmth of summer three sets of french doors can be opened from the ground floor rooms into the garden giving the cottage a lovely open feel - the garden is a delightful protected spot to enjoy a barbecue and drinks in the sunshine.

This lovely detached house is very attractively situated, close to the cliff top above Totland Bay, on the west side of the Island. There are sea views from the balcony, bedrooms and dining room and the lighthouse at Hurst Point can be glimpsed in the distance. The sandy bay of Totland where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed is only a 3 minute walk away. This is also a marvellous walking area.

Apple House is situated on the west side of the island, within a 10 minute walk of the beach at Colwell Bay. Here swimming, paddling, fishing and boating can be enjoyed. Totland Bay is also within easy walking distance. The coastal path from this area can be followed westward to Alum Bay, Tennyson Down and The Needles - a wonderful walking area with panoramic sea views. The centre of Freshwater is also within a 10 minute walk.

This superb cottage is one of 5 very individual properties skilfully converted from a beautiful church in Totland. It stands within a 10 minute walk of the beaches of Totland and Colwell Bay. It is also in a lovely walking and cycling area with wonderful downland and coastal paths nearby. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard with deep cream carpets and attractively co-ordinated fabrics. There is a feeling of luxury throughout the property.

This lovely stone cottage dates back to the 1700's. It is beautifully situated on the south west coast of the Island – only a two minute walk from the beach. This part of the coastline is renowned for its fossils and is completely unspoilt. Brook Green is a pretty coastal hamlet with a small group of attractive stone cottages. The pretty villages of Brook and Brighstone are nearby. The sandy coves of Colwell Bay and Totland are within a 10 – 15 minute drive.
Sea Haze is a lovely detached bungalow, attractively situated near Totland village, with sea views from the garden and kitchen. It is in a pleasant secluded area with well spaced properties on a quiet unmade lane. Sea Haze is only 1/3 of a mile from the sandy bays of Colwell and Totland. Much of the nearby coastal area is owned by the National Trust and is a wonderful walking area. In the centre of the nearby small town of Freshwater there are a variety of shops, including a small supermarket, public houses and a sports centre with an indoor swimming pool.
Sea Haze is a three bedroom detached bungalow. All the accommodation is on one level with two steps at each entrance. It is centrally heated and furnished in a simple traditional style. There is a lovely newly equipped fitted kitchen with solid wood worktops, an electric oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and walk in pantry. A washer dryer is provided in a small utility area. There is a pleasant dining area and a spacious sitting room with a new comfortable sofa and chairs plus a television, DVD and VCR. This is a light room with a large window and patio doors which open into a secluded courtyard area of the garden. A small conservatory room adjoins the sitting room and also has patio doors opening into the courtyard. This gives the room a pleasant open feel in warmer weather. There are three simply furnished bedrooms – one spacious double bedroom with a king size bed, a slightly smaller double bedroom and a bunk bedroom for children with a basin. (A sofa bed with a sprung mattress is available in the sitting room which visitors may use in preference to the bunk beds). There is a bathroom with a bath and overhead shower plus a basin and WC. There is also a second separate WC and basin. A travel cot and high chair are available if required. Heating & electricity is provided free of charge. A telephone is provided for outgoing and incoming calls. WiFi internet available.
Sea Haze has a lovely large garden with a lawn and shrubs. It is surrounded by walls and hedging but is not securely enclosed. Garden furniture is provided. There is a small pond in the front garden so children do need to be closely supervised. Parking in the drive for at least two cars. The beach is within easy walking distance. Public transport, shop and public house within 5 minutes walk.
Sea Haze has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Sea Haze. Sea Haze is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 11:00.

Totland is a small seaside village on the West of the Isle of Wight. The beach at Totland is a hidden gem of the Island and mostly frequented by local people. The beautiful bay has a mix of sand and shingle and so very comfortable for sunbathing or swimming from. The neighbouring bay of Colwell Bay is also within easy reach and here you get wonderful views of the mainland and the historic coastal defences.

Totland Beach - The beach at Totland is a long shingle beach with patches of sand. The position of the beach means it received more of the afternoon sun than beaches on the East of the Isle of Wight and therefore remains popular in the evenings with people looking out at the sea view and the mainland beyond. The West of the Isle of Wight is best known for its unspoilt nature and dramatic coastline. The areas is far less commercialised and the many of the beaches can be enjoyed almost to ones self. Dogs can be left confined in the kitchen while visitors are out as long are they are not noisy or disruptive. We ask owners not to allow their dogs to foul the garden.
