A quiet cove, where visitors can paddle and swim, is within a 15 minute walk of the cottage. St Lawrence is renowned for its mild climate and in the nearby Botanical Garden many rare and tropical trees and plants are grown.

It is in an attractive, quiet residential area of individual properties with large gardens. There are views of the sea from the upper terrace and the front bedrooms. This part of the Island is renowned for its mild climate and a beautiful botanical garden with many rare plants is nearby. From the house visitors can take a 10 minute stroll to two small coves and can join the coastal path for a delightful walk through to Ventnor. The small coastal resort of Ventnor with its sandy beach, restaurants and entertainments is less than a 5 minute drive away.

The Old Village of Shanklin has pretty thatched cottages, tea shops and public houses plus a beautiful chine, floodlit in the evening.

A quiet unspoilt beach, where swimming, paddling and beach combing can be enjoyed, is within a 5 minute stroll of the house. The Old Brew House is a beautiful detached property built of Island stone. It was originally a 16th century brew house.

Greenside is very pleasantly situated in a quiet,prestigious residential area of Cowes. There are open views from the rear of the house across the golf course. It is less than half a mile from the beach at Gurnard. The centre of Cowes is a 15-minute walk from the house.

Belmont Villa has a lovely large fenced garden and private parking.

Much of the nearby coastal area is owned by the National Trust and it is a wonderful walking area with easy access to the coastal path and delightful walks on the downs with panoramic views.

This pretty cottage is attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute walk of the sandy beach of Ventnor or the quiet cove of Steephill on the south coast of the Island. Ventnor Park is at the rear of the cottage and paths lead through these gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its rare plants and the mild climate. The Clock House is one of a small group of cottages which have been converted from the original stables of Steephill Manor House.

This lovely detached house is very attractively situated, close to the cliff top above Totland Bay, on the west side of the Island. There are sea views from the rooms at the front of the house and the lighthouse at Hurst Point can be glimpsed in the distance. The sandy bay of Totland where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed is only a 3 minute walk away. This is also a marvellous walking area.

The atmospheric village centre of Seaview, with its small shops, sailing club and restaurants is within a 7 minute stroll.

This lovely stone cottage dates back to the 1700's. It is beautifully situated on the south west coast of the Island – only one or two minutes walk from the beach. This part of the coastline is renowned for its fossils and is completely unspoilt. Brook Green is a pretty coastal hamlet with a small group of attractive stone cottages. The pretty villages of Brook and Brighstone are nearby. The sandy coves of Colwell Bay and Totland are within a 10 – 15 minute drive.

Cedar Cottage is an attractive white walled cottage situated in a pleasant semi rural location, near the coastal resorts of Seaview and Ryde. The esplanade of Seaview and the beach is less than 500 yrds away. Here there is a café/bar, tennis courts, putting and a large playground. A 15 minute stroll along the esplanade leads to the centre of Seaview where there is a variety of good restaurants.
