The sandy beach of the seaside town of Ventnor is within a 10 minute drive and there is also easy access to the small quiet coves on the south coast and on the West side of the Isle of Wight.

Delightful first floor apartment comprising the entire upper floor of a traditional stone built house adjacent to Ventnor Park Gardens and within a 10 minute walk of the esplanade of Ventnor with its beach and beautiful bay. Visitors can also walk through the gardens and along the coastal path for a short distance to Ventnor Botanical Garden and to Steephill Cove. The small shops and restaurants of Ventnor are also within a 10 minute walk. The property has been newly renovated and equipped to a high standard to provide very attractive accommodation with garden views and also glimpses of the sea from the smaller bedroom.

Castle Cottage is very attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute stroll of the sandy beach of Ventnor and the quiet cove of Steephill. At the rear of the cottage is Ventnor Park and paths lead through these lovely gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its mild climate and rare plants.

Shiloh is a Grade II listed barn which has been converted into a lovely 2 bedroom, single storey, cottage. It is situated in delightful countryside between the villages of Godshill and Whitwell and is only a 5 minute drive from the coast. The seaside resort of Ventnor is 5 km away and the sandy beaches of Shankllin and Ventnor are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of footpaths including a wonderful walk along the River Yar which extends from its source in Niton on the south coast to Bembridge, with its beautiful wetland area in the east. The cottage has a secure fenced garden and is well equipped.

This delightful cottage is very attractively situated in a peaceful rural hamlet in beautiful countryside but is only 1.5 miles from the lovely sandy beach of Shanklin, a small coastal town with a variety of restaurants and entertainments. The neighbouring seaside towns of Sandown and Ventnor are within an easy 10 minute drive. The cottage is in a good walking area with nearby footpaths leading to woodland and to the downs above Ventnor.

This delightful detached stone cottage is located on a 400 acre arable farm which is also home to a small number of cattle and sheep. It is located on the south east side of the island within a 5 minute drive of the beach. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths leading from the cottage across the farm and joining a network of routes including the renowned Stenbury Trail which links Ventnor with the central market town of Newport and its dramatic castle of Carisbrooke. The larger sandy beaches of Ventnor and Shanklin are within a 10 minute drive.

Puckaster House is beautifully situated - surrounded by its own six acres of garden and with lovely lawns going down towards the sea. Visitors have the rare opportunity to stay in a wing of this beautiful 'Cottage Ornee' style house. Prince Philip stayed at Puckaster house on several occasions when he learning to sail. Princess Elizabeth is also reputed to have visited. The house is approached by a long driveway and is within the village of Niton Undercliff on the south coast of the Isle of Wight. Sea views can be glimpsed from the bedrooms of the wing and there are extensive sea views from the larger gardens. The small cove of Castle Haven is within a 10 minute walk as is St Catherine's lighthouse. This is a wonderful walking area with one of the most beautiful and dramatic parts of the coastal path extending from here to The Needles, on the western tip of the island, and then on to the bays of Totland and Colwell. The sandy beach of the small resort of Ventnor is within a 15 to 20 minute drive as are also a variety of small coves on the west side of the island.
Puckaster Wing has its own private entrance and provides charming accommodation for four people. The property has been decorated and furnished with care. Original features have been retained where possible and the entrance hall has a lovely flagstone floor. On the ground floor there is: an attractive sitting room with comfortable sofas, flat screen television with Freeview/DVD and feature fire place; a cloakroom with w.c. and basin; a fitted kitchen and dining area. The kitchen is equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. Upstairs there are two spacious bedrooms - one double and one twin room (travel cot/high chair can also be provided); a bathroom with a small bath and overhead shower, basin and w.c. Central heating and electricity are provided free of charge. Please be aware that the open fire cannot be used. A travel cot/high chair can be provided.
There is a lovely walled courtyard beside the cottage with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed outside. Visitors can also follow a path through the grounds to secluded areas of garden and a place where children can play games. Parking for one car. Public transport is within 10 minutes walk. The famous Buddle Inn is within a 5 minute walk and within a 15 minute walk there is a good general stores; post office hardware shop, chemist, library and doctors plus a second public house for meals. Visitors need to be aware that there are two ponds in the gardens and so children do need to be closely supervised at all times.

Puckaster Wing is a non smoking cottage. Puckaster Wing is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 22nd May 2017 to 1st June 2017 and 27th October 2017 to 14th December 2017.

Niton is a small village with a traditional community feel. The local shop, cafe and butcher are all going strong supported by local people committed to keeping them. A village pub offers food and is a good place to meet your neighbours.
Niton Undercliff, which is the area closer to the coast and within a short walk of Niton, enjoys spectacular and panoramic views of the sea. This vantage point made it an ideal location for St Catherine's Light House which is located here. Nition Undercliff has an exellent public house and is a peaceful location without passing traffic.
Buddle Inn, Niton Undercliff - A traditional public house with lovely location overlooking the sea at Niton Undercliff. Niton Undercliff is signposted from the road between Niton and Ventnor. The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
