The lovely central position of this property makes it ideal for touring the Island as most parts can be reached within a 30 minute drive. The beautiful sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are only a 20 minute drive away.

Here there are a small number of shops, a public house for meals and a leisure club with indoor swimming pool.

There is also a pleasant public house for meals and a beautiful 16th century church. The village of Niton is in 'An Area of Outstanding National Beauty' and is a wonderful walking area.

The pretty village of Brighstone village with its tea rooms, public house and village shops is within a 15 minute stroll. The cottage is only a mile from the coast and here there are several quiet sandy coves.

Detached bungalow with large fenced garden in the centre of the seaside village of Bembridge on the east side of the Isle of Wight. It is less than a 15 minute walk from the beach where the shallow waters offer a wonderful place for safe bathing, paddling and boating. Bembridge is a delightful spot with an air of tranquillity and affluence. It is a popular sailing centre and has a variety of small interesting shops, tea shops, public houses and restaurants.

This pretty thatched cottage stands, close to the centre of the small rural village of Whitwell, only two miles from the south coast. Here there are the quiet coves of St Lawrence and within 10 minutes drive is the small seaside resort of Ventnor. Ventnor and St Lawrence are renowed for their mild climate and beautiful botantical gardens. The larger sandy beaches of Shanklin and Sandown are within a 15 minute drive.

Rocklyn Cottage is attractively situated at Appuldurcombe, on the outskirts of Wroxall and within 2 miles of the south coast of the island. The cottage is within a 10 minute walk of Appuldurcombe House and in a wonderful walking and cycling area with footpaths leading directly from the cottage to Stenbury Downs, the donkey sanctuary and the nearby picturesque village of Godshill with its thatched cottages, teashops and public houses.

Ronda is a lovely detached house within a 10 minute stroll of the sandy beach at Totland Bay. It is in a pleasant secluded area with well spaced properties on a quiet unmade lane. Much of the nearby coastal area is owned by the National Trust and it is a wonderful walking area with easy access to the coastal path and delightful walks on the downs with panoramic views.

This is a wonderful retreat standing amidst a large garden, adjacent to woodland and the wonderful estate of Osborne House – the Island palace of Queen Victoria. The Indian Summer House has a fascinating history. From the cottage quiet lanes and footpaths can be followed to the sea which is only ¾ of a mile away. There is easy access to Cowes which is built astride the River Medina - a small chain ferry links the two parts.

This is a lovely walking area and footpaths lead from close to the cottage to the beautiful downs above Ventnor. Byre Cottage is only 1.5 miles from the centre of the seaside town of Shanklin with its wonderful sandy beach which is popular for swimming and paddling. The neighbouring seaside towns of Sandown and Ventnor are within a 10 minute drive.

The esplanade of Seaview and the beach is less than 500 yrds away. Here there is a café/bar, tennis courts, putting and a large playground. A 15 minute stroll along the esplanade leads to the centre of Seaview where there is a variety of good restaurants.

This cottage is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Godshill. It was originally the milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm. The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

This delightful Grade II listed stone cottage has been sympathetically converted from the former stables of the nearby Apse Manor. It nestles within an enclosed courtyard approached through a lovely large arched entrance. The original building dates back to 1695, and period stone door surrounds and lintels can be seen on its south elevation. Deceptively spacious, Groom Cottage has thick stone walls, wooden beams and an attractive appearance with four gables.

Two Mead Cottage is one of a pair of cottages which stand in the attractive rural hamlet of Alverstone and is less than a 5 minute drive from the lovely sandy beaches of Sandown on the east coast of the Island. The cottage is located on a small 12 acre farm which is home to horses, cows and a few free range chickens. The farm is in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and has a charming large pond which attracts ducks, moorhens and the occassional heron.

Situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of the pretty village of Shalfleet on the west side of the Isle of Wight. The village has a lovely 12th century church, its own village shop and a public house which is extremely good for meals. Mead Cottage is attractively situated on a 12 acre farm on the edge of the small rural hamlet of Alverstone in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. This is a wonderful position for outdoor pursuits, walking, cycling, fishing and golf. In the village there are lovely water meadows and fishing ponds with hides for bird and red squirrel watching. There are many footpaths leading up on to the downs and towards the coast.
