It provides charming accommodation with a double bedroom with 'king size' bed and a bathroom with bath and overhead shower upstairs. On the ground floor there is a spacious living room with a beautiful fireplace and wood burning stove plus a well equipped fitted kitchen. The cottage has a fenced garden with a lovely summer house where visitors can relax and also enjoy rural and coastal views.

This cottage is situated in a quiet country lane on the outskirts of Godshill. It was originally the milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm. The surrounding fields are home to horses which belong to a small nearby riding school. Here you are in lovely countryside but the centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

This lovely detached cottage is beautifully situated in delightful countryside, with the most wonderful open views across rolling lawns and fields to the valley of the River Medina which gently meanders into the distance. It is a peaceful location on the 35 acre Medham Farm and visitors have open access to the private meadow, lake and beautiful woodland of the farm. This is an area rich in wildlife with frogs, newts and ducks in the pond the garden overlooks.

This lovely wing of Fowlsdown Farmhouse is completely self contained and offers very attractive accommodation of a high standard. The accommodation is largely open plan with an attractive sitting room area with a sofa, arm chair, flat screen television with freeview; a lovely dining area beside a window; a fitted kitchen with a tiled floor, an electric cooker and hob, microwave, refrigerator and small freezer (24 hour washing service available); a charming bedroom with a king size bed and fitted wardrobe with curtains to separate it from the living area; a well equipped tiled bathroom with a bath, over head shower, basin and WC. At the rear of the cottage is a small sunny fenced courtyard with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed outside. The property is within a 5 minute drive of the coastal resort of Shanklin with its lovely sandy beach. The picturesque village of Godshill is also nearby - with its thatched cottages, lovely church, tea shops, public houses and restaurant. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area.
This charming two hundred year old cottage is situated in beautiful countryside and enjoys open views across fields to the Solent - a variety of sailing boats and cruise liners can often be seen. It is in a lovely walking and cycling area with footpaths and tracks extending in a variety of directions including the coast at Wootton Creek, the woods of Briddlesford Copse and Arreton Downs. The cottage is in an excellent location for exploring the island with many places to visit within an easy 10 minute drive. These include the wonderful island home of Queen Victoria - Osborne House, Quarr Abbey, Havenstreet Steam Railway; the Butterfly World, a Lavender Farm and Robin Hill Country Park. The small floating bridge at Cowes offers easy access to the shops of West Cowes and to the countryside and small coves on the west side of the island. The larger east coast sandy beaches of Ryde, Appley and St Helens are also nearby.

Upstairs there is a charming double bedroom with a ‘king size’ bed, wardrobe plus wonderful open views across fields to the sea; a well equipped bathroom with bath, overhead shower, w.c. and basin. Central heating, electricity and WiFi Internet without extra charge.
The cottage has a fenced and gated garden with garden furniture so that visitors can relax in the sunshine. There is also a pretty well in the garden which in years past provided water for the cottages. A car can be parked in a parking area near the cottage. Bus service and public house within 15 minutes walk. Farm shop and restaurant for lunch within 5 minutes walk plus a nearby emporium with antiques and collectibles.
One Dores Hill Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at One Dores Hill Cottage. One Dores Hill Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 9th June 2017 to 15th June 2017 and 27th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

The village of Wootton lies either side of an estuary on the North East of the Isle of Wight within a 10 drive of Cowes to the West and Ryde to the East. The area around Wootton is made up of attractive countryside with numerous footpaths and bridal ways.
It is only a short drive from Wootton to the sandy beaches on the East of the Isle of Wight of which the two closest are Ryde and Seaview.
Blue Bell Cafe, Wootton - The Blue Bell Cafe is located just outside Wootton on the Briddlesford Rd and open for breakfast, lunch and dinner. The North of the Isle of Wight is a wonderfully varied location with beautiful coastal areas and historic sites. The main towns in the North are Yarmouth in the North West, Gurnard and Cowes in the centre of the Northern coastline, and Ryde in the North East. There is a sandy beach at Ryde, a shingle and sand beach at Gurnard and a long shingle beach at Cowes.
The principle town here is Cowes where a vibrant sailing scene exists and culminates in the yearly Cowes Week festival. Yarmouth also enjoys a strong connection with the sea and has its own festival of Gaffers which attracts a large number of brightly decorated boats.
The inland areas of the North side of the Isle of Wight are known for their beautiful countryside. The estuary at Wootton is an important area for birds and views across the estuary are often enhanced by a number of bird species. Footpaths and cycle tracks are numerous in the area and a great way to see the beauty on the North of the Isle of Wight.
