The Manor House is surrounded by lovely gardens which the cottage overlooks. Bridgecourt Manor Cottage is a stone cottage, converted from an ancient forge which dates back to the 1600’s. It provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 5 people in 3 bedrooms.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. It has been converted from the original milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm and the building is thought to date back to the 1700 ‘s. A small riding stables is within a few minutes walk and most of the surrounding fields are home to horses. The centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

This pretty Swiss style cottage is situated in the lovely gardens of Ventnor Park. These gardens have sheltered lawns, well kept paths and excellent 18 hole putting green. Nearby footpaths lead up to high ground from where there are beautiful sea views. The sandy beach of Ventnor can be reached by taking a pleasant 5 minute stroll through the gardens and down to the esplanade. Footpaths also lead directly from the cottage to the quiet cove of Steephill and the Botanical Gardens.

Shiloh is a Grade II listed barn which has been converted into a lovely 2 bedroom, single storey, cottage. It is situated in delightful countryside between the villages of Godshill and Whitwell and is only a 5 minute drive from the coast. The seaside resort of Ventnor is 5 km away and the sandy beaches of Shankllin and Ventnor are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of footpaths including a wonderful walk along the River Yar which extends from its source in Niton on the south coast to Bembridge, with its beautiful wetland area in the east. The cottage has a secure fenced garden and is well equipped.

Manor Stable is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful South Wight countryside. It is a marvellous walking area with footpaths that can be followed directly from the cottage in most directions. There are particularly attractive walks along the course of the river Yar; to the picturesque village of Godshill and to the nearby village of Arreton which has a public house, farm shop and cafe for meals. The cottage is excellent for cyclists as there is access to a network of cycle paths directly from the farm and arrangements can be make for the storage of bikes. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a 15 minute drive.

Mead Cottage is attractively situated on a 12 acre farm on the edge of the small rural hamlet of Alverstone in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. This is a wonderful position for outdoor pursuits, walking, cycling, fishing and golf. In the village there are lovely water meadows and fishing ponds with hides for bird and red squirrel watching. There are many footpaths leading up on to the downs and towards the coast.
Manor Park View stands in a beautiful, secluded location, very conveniently within a 10 minute stroll of picturesque Shanklin Old Village with its numerous pretty thatched tea rooms, restaurants, shops andpublic houses. Here you will also find Shanklin Theatre, Shanklin Chine and Rylstone Gardens. The lovely sandy beach of this small resort is a further five minute stroll, offering all the traditional seaside entertainments, including swimming, boating and crazy golf. This beautifully equipped cottage overlooks lovely open parkland where visitors may enjoy a stroll and children can play games. The cottage is in the grounds of Shanklin Manor House which has been renovated to provide a small number of privately owned luxury apartments and some cottage style properties have been built. Visitors can enjoy shared use of the grounds of the manor which extend to over 2.5 acres. Within a few minutes walk of the cottage is a small cricket ground, a charming ancient stone church and a pretty pond which is home to ducks and moorhens. A good choice of restaurants, public houses, shops and entertainments can be found in Shanklin. The cottage is in a lovely walking area with the Worsley Trail starting within a few minutes walk from the cottage. This is a wonderful walk with panoramic views which extends to Brighstone on the west side of the island. Visitors can also easily join the coastal path that can be followed westwards to the pretty coastal village of Bonchurch and on to Ventnor.
Manor Park View is a newly built property at the centre of a small terrace. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and offers extremely attractive and comfortable accommodation for 6 people in 3 charming bedrooms. It is centrally heated and double glazed with luxurious cream fitted carpets extending throughout most of the cottage. On the ground floor there is a lovely open plan living area overlooking the parkland with a beautifully equipped fitted kitchen with hard wood worktops, a Belfast sink, dishwasher, electric oven, gas hob, microwave, refrigerator and freezer. The washing machine/tumble dryer are housed in a separate area adjoining the kitchen. There is a charming dining area beside French doors which open into the courtyard at the rear of the cottage and a very pleasant sitting area with comfortable sofas and a large wide screen television with Freeview/DVD player. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom with a WC and basin. Stairs lead up to two beautiful bedrooms – one twin room and a double room with views across the parkland. There is a well equipped bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. Further stairs lead up to the spacious master bedroom which is beautifully furnished with a double bed, fitted wardrobes, a full length mirror and a wall mounted television with DVD. This room has an en-suite shower room with a built in shower, basin and WC. It also enjoys views over the parkland. Heating/electricity at no extra charge. Travel cot/high chair. (Babies do need to be included in the maximum number for the property of 6). WiFi internet available.
The cottage has a small courtyard style walled garden at the rear with garden furniture. There is also a small sitting area at the front of the property. Visitors can stop to unload cars at the front of the cottage and it is also possible to park here. However there is a parking space for one car within 40 yards. Additional parking spaces are available with a two minute walk. Bus service within 5 minutes walk.
Manor Park View is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Manor Park View. Manor Park View is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from and 28th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

Shanklin is most famous for the long beach of golden sand and historic village centre. This idyllic self catering holiday location is on the East of the Isle of Wight and has excellent access to the other beaches on the East coast. There are a number of shops and restaurants in Shanklin village or down on the seafront.
Shanklin has a number of worthy attractions including Shanklin Old Town with pretty thatched buildings and number of traditional small shops selling local produce and traditional sweets. A pleasent area of gardens is also found nearby and these can be enjoyed on the way down to the sea.

15 Shanklin Manor is a self catering holiday cottage, available for short term letting. The cottage is a mid terrace property, with accommodation arranged over 3 floors.
This property is not deemed suitable for wheelchair users.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities
The cottage is approached via Manor Road (off Church Road) and is located toward the rear of the Manor House (overlooking the park).
The cottage is served by a designated parking space immediately in front of the property. Additionally (although not yet marked), there is a further parking space in the main parking area to the rear of the building (immediately facing as you drive through main entrance to the Manor). The parking space is on the far right (under tree). Additionally there is plenty of parking space in the visitors parking area, which is to your left as you drive through the main entrance.
The main communal walkways and parking area is illuminated during the evenings.
There are two sets of stairs in the property – one set leading to the first floor and another leading to the 2nd floor. All stairs, hallways and landings are carpeted.
Main Living Area
There is a single ground floor entrance to the property.
There is an open plan lounge/diner and kitchen located on the ground floor
Patio doors are located at one end of the lounge/diner, giving access to a fully enclosed courtyard garden.
Floors are carpeted in the lounge/dining area
Self Catering Kitchen/Utility Room
The kitchen forms part of the main dining and living area and features gas hob, low level electric oven, dishwasher, separate fridge and freezer and microwave oven. There is an adjacent utility room which houses a washer/dryer and other household equipment.
Crockery and cooking utensils are stored in low level drawers and overhead cupboards.
The floor is of hard vinyl construction

There are 3 bedrooms in total (2 doubles and 1 twin room), sleeping up to 6 people.
2 bedrooms (1 x twin room and 1 x double) are located on the 1st floor of the property
The Master Bedroom (double) is located on the 2nd floor
The Master Bedroom is served by an en-suite bathroom.

There is a toilet and sink located in the lobby area on the ground floor. Floor is of hard vinyl construction
There is a family bathroom on the 1st floor, accessed directly from the hallway, comprising of bath, shower (over bath), sink and WC. Floor is tiled

None of the bathrooms are equipped with facilities for disabled visitors.
Grounds and Gardens/Local Area
There is a small enclosed courtyard garden to the rear of the property (accessed via patio doors from lounge/diner). The garden is paved with gravel borders.
Communal grounds/gardens are located to the front of the Manor House (no games/ball games please).
There is a large green area/park immediately opposite the property for guests to enjoy at their leisure.
Rubbish is collected weekly on Tuesday’s. The bin store is located by the main entrance to the Manor. Please do not use the other bin store as this is designated for the sole use of other holiday cottages (not belonging to Shanklin Manor)
There is no smoking allowed in the cottage
