This lovely stone barn is attractively situated on the outer edge of Wootton adjoining delightful countryside and less than a mile from the coast. The sandy beaches of the seaside resort of Ryde are within a 10 minute drive. Wootton has several small shops, a hotel and three public houses, two of which have restaurants overlooking the attractive estuary.

This charming, Grade II listed cottage, is only a short drive from the sandy beach of Shanklin. It is peacefully situated in a quiet leafy hamlet in beautiful countryside, only 1.5 miles from the centre of the small seaside resort of Shanklin, on the east coast of the Isle of Wight. Shanklin has a lovely sandy beach which gently slopes into the water, a variety of restaurants, small shops and traditional seaside entertainments. The cottage has a lovely large sunny garden and is in a wonderful cycling and walking area. Footpaths and bridleways lead from close to the cottage to the coast at Shanklin and there is a particularly delightful walk across fields and downs to Ventnor offering panoramic views across Sandown Bay. The pretty village of Godshill is within a 5 minute drive and here there is good public house for meals, teashops and a hill top church.
This lovely large detached and secluded house is attractively situated in the coastal village of Bembridge on the east of the Isle of Wight. Bembridge is renowned for its quiet beaches and small harbour with sailing and fishing. The charming village centre is within a 5 minute flat walk. Here there is a variety of small interesting shops and restaurants specialising in local produce and fish. Beaches are within a 10 minute walk. A small hotel with a restaurant and bar is within a 2 minute walk.
Larkspur is a substantial house with a particularly lovely enclosed garden. It has been furnished and equipped with care to a high standard, making the house a particularly attractive place to stay. On the ground floor there is a large open plan sitting room with comfortable sofas, armchairs and a good sized television/Freeview/DVD player; a delightful dining area with a table and chairs beside French doors which open on to the terrace; a well equipped fitted kitchen with a range style cooker, microwave, fridge and separate freezer, dishwasher and washing machine; a shower room with built in shower, basin and WC; a lovely double bedroom with a king size bed. Stairs lead up to three additional bedrooms. Here there is another large double bedroom with a king size bed, fitted wardrobes and a basin; a charming double room with views across the garden and a spacious bedroom with a full size single trundle bed and a bunk bed for children plus a bathroom with bath, overhead shower, basin and WC. There are wardrobes in all bedrooms. A full size pull out trundle bed can also be made available in the bunk bedroom, or a folding bed for a child in either of the two larger double bedrooms. Large wooden double gates open into the drive of Larkspur House where three to four cars can be parked and there is a garden area with a lawn and shrubbery. The rear garden has a delightful terrace with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine plus a hot tub which can be used by arrangement. The terrace overlooks lawns and attractive shrubberies. Here visitors can relax and children have space to play games. Bus service within a 2 minute walk. The resorts of St. Helens, Seaview, Ryde and Sandown are all within a 5 to 10 minute drive.
Larkspur House has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Larkspur House. Larkspur House is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 27th October 2017 to 17th December 2017, 8th January 2018 to 8th February 2018, 16th February 2018 to 22nd March 2018, 20th April 2018 to 24th May 2018, 1st June 2018 to 7th June 2018, 28th September 2018 to 18th October 2018 and 26th October 2018 to 20th December 2018.

The small seaside village of Bembridge is an idyllic holiday location on the East of the Isle of Wight between Seaview and Sandown. The village has a great range of small shops and places to eat or have coffee and the coast line wraps half way around to form a long beach. The village is well known for a friendly atmosphere and prides itself of being a real community. Just outside of Bembridge is the National Trust owned Bembridge Windmill from around 1700 which is open to the public and it is possible to explore inside. One dog is welcome at the property. The garden is fenced and gated, but is not entirely dog proof. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. Please also ensure that dogs are not allowed in the bath. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the cottage and not to allow them to foul the garden. Dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.
