Lovely farm cottage with delightful rural views across lakes to the downs beyond. The picturesque farm is in a wonderful cycling and walking area with direct access to a network of cycle paths, footpaths and bridleways, and private access to the Stenbury Trail which ultimately extends from Cowes to the coast at Ventnor. The Tennyson Trail extending to the western tip of the island is also easily reached. The cottage has been furnished and equipped with care to a high standard and offers charming accommodation in beautiful surroundings with ducks, swans and a huge variety of other wildlife including red squirrels as constant visitors. Horses are kept on the farm and trout fishing can be arranged. The central location of the cottage makes it an ideal base for touring the island.

This pretty cottage is attractively situated within a pleasant ten minute walk of the sandy beach of Ventnor or the quiet cove of Steephill on the south coast of the Island. Ventnor Park is at the rear of the cottage and paths lead through these gardens to the Esplanade. These gardens also adjoin the Botanical Garden of Ventnor which is renowned for its rare plants and the mild climate. The Clock House is one of a small group of cottages which have been converted from the original stables of Steephill Manor House.

This idyllic, one bedroom, self catering wing located in an area of 'Outstanding Natural Beauty' near Godshill Village on the East of the Isle of Wight. The wing is part of the beautiful Godshill Park House which stands in four acres of grounds and surrounded by farmland. There are wonderful walking a cycling opportunities around the cottage and it is a pleasant walk to Godshill where there are pubs and restaurants.
This pretty cottage is situated very close to the centre of Godshill - a picturesque village renowned for its beautiful church, thatched cottages, and teashops. Within a few minutes walk there is a restaurant, two public houses, a small village shop with a post office, chocolate shop, model village and a variety of gift shops. This is a lovely walking and cycling area with nearby footpaths leading on to the downs and linking with trails to Appuldurcombe and the coast. The sandy beach of Shanklin is within a 10 minute drive. Here visitors can enjoy swimming paddling, boating and a variety of traditional seaside entertainments.
Jasmine cottage is a small and charming semi detached property furnished and equipped with care to provide very attractive and comfortable accommodation which is centrally heated and double glazed. On the ground floor there is a lovely open plan sitting room with a sofa, armchair, flat screen television/Freesat/DVD and a pleasant dining area. A small archway gives open access to a compact well equipped fitted kitchen with an electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator and washer-dryer. A freezer is also provided. Stairs lead up to a landing which gives access to a lovely double bedroom, a dressing room with fitted wardrobes and a well equipped shower room with a built in shower, basin and wc. All of these rooms rooms have their own access to the landing. Heating/electricity at no extra charge. A travel cot/high chair or a folding bed for a child can be provided for use in the dressing room if required.
The cottage has a pretty fenced garden at the front of the cottage and within a few steps of the front gate is a further gate which opens into a secluded garden with abundant shrubs, pretty paths, flower beds and some delightful places to sit and relax. These include an arched arbour seat on a small lawn and a lovely summerhouse with an enclosed area and a covered verandah. There is a picnic bench for outdoor eating, with a parasol for shade. An allocated parking space for one car is available within a 1 minute walk. The cottage is situated on a road linking the coastal town of Shanklin with the market town of Newport and is an excellent position for anyone wishing to come to the island without a car as there is a regular bus service within a 2/3 minute walk providing access to most parts of the island.
Jasmine Cottage is a non smoking cottage. Jasmine Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 14:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

Godshill is a pretty rural village with a number of thatched cottages and a historic church. A number of boutique shops are now found in the village selling Isle of Wight Glass and other local produce. A couple of public houses provide a good choice of place to eat and drink.

Walk or Cycle to Shanklin - This walk first follows the Stenbury Trail to Wroxall and then the cycle track to Shanklin. To reach the Stenbury Trail from Godshill head out of town along the main road towards Shanklin before turning right after 200 yards onto the trail. Continue up the trail to the Freemantle Gate (photo of the Freemantle Gate) which you pass thought and follow the path which bears left across the fields towards Appuldurcombe and Wroxall. There is a wide flat cycle way that runs from Wroxall to Shanklin. The track starts below the old railway bridge in the centre of Wroxall. If you are walking there is a footpath leading from alongside the bridge to the start of the track but if you are on a bike you must cross the bridge and follow the cycle path signs. Once you are on the track it is clearly signposted all the way to Shanklin. The track runs along the old railway line and the banks on either side are lined with lush vegetation.

Blackgang Chine is also thought to be the longest running theme park in the world and many generations of visitors remember it for the adventure and excitement it offers. Jasmine Cottage is a semi-detached 19th century cottage which has recently been modernised. It offers compact self-catering accommodation on two floors close to the centre of Godshill village.
Travel and Arrival
The living/dining room and kitchenette are on the ground floor; a bedroom, dressing room (suitable for one child or baby to sleep) and shower room/toilet are upstairs, accessed from the landing.
Due to the age and modest proportions of the cottage, there are some restricted spaces. This mainly applies to width of openings. Door heights are all at least 1.98m/6ft 6” high (except door to under stair cupboard) and ceiling heights are approx 2.08m/6ft 10” except going into the eaves and on part of the stairway as stated below.

Head height reduces to 1.75m/5ft 9” in front of freezer and microwave. Head height reduces further in steps within cupboard area to minimum 76cm/2ft 6”.
Twelve steps with 18cm/7¼” risers. Handrail except at corner midway up. Low head clearance on bottom two steps (minimum 1.7m/5ft 7”).
