This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

Puckaster Cottage is a lovely cottage in an attractive courtyard within the grounds of Puckaster House . The main house is surrounded by six acres of garden with lovely lawns going down towards the sea. There are sea glimpses from some of the upper rooms of the cottage and open sea views from the larger gardens. The sea is within a 15 minute walk and there is easy access to the wonderful coastal path which extends from the village of Niton to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. The small resort of Ventnor is within a 15 minute drive and there is easy access to a number of small quiet bays on the south west side of the Island.

St Catherines Cottage has been in the same family for three generations and enjoys an exceptional position with views across the lovely garden to the sea. There are sea views from several of the rooms including the sitting room, dining room and two main bedrooms.

This lovely 17th century cottage is built of Island chalk and brick and enjoys beautiful views across nearby lakes and open countryside to Ventnor Downs. It is situated on an attractive farm at Merstone. The picturesque village of Godshill is nearby and the sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking area. Footpaths can be followed from close to the cottage along the course of the river Yar towards Bembridge and Niton and into the village of Godshill.

This wonderful property is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. It has recently been converted from a large old granary, the foundations of which date back to the 1700s. A fire in 1889 resulted in much of it being rebuilt. Redway Manor Granary has been renovated with the greatest care and wherever possible original features have been retained. There are beautiful views across the fields and nearby lakes to the downs. The sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

Two Mead Cottage is one of a pair of cottages which stand in the attractive rural hamlet of Alverstone and is less than a 5 minute drive from the lovely sandy beaches of Sandown on the east coast of the Island. The cottage is located on a small 12 acre farm which is home to horses, cows and a few free range chickens. The farm is in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty” and has a charming large pond which attracts ducks, moorhens and the occassional heron.
This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. It has been converted from the original milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm and the building is thought to date back to the 1700's. A small riding stables is within a few minutes walk and most of the surrounding fields are home to horses. The centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea rooms is only 3/4 mile away. The market town of Newport with its wide variety of shops and medieval castle is within a 5 minute drive. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a 15 minute drive.
The Hayloft has recently been completely renovated. The cottage has been furnished and equipped to a high standard with central heating, fitted carpets and a plentiful supply of hot water. It provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 5 people in three bedrooms. On the ground floor there is a newly equipped kitchen with fitted units, an electric cooker and hob, microwave and refrigerator with ice box; a bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC; a charming sitting room furnished with comfortable sofas, a flat screen television /DVD player. WiFi broadband internet is available at this cottage. Stairs lead up from here to three attractive bedrooms - one spacious double room, one twin room and a single bedroom with a 4ft bed. (This is a designated single room but can be used for 2 people if desired). A travel cot and high chair can be provided if required. There is a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer in a nearby utility room, use of which is shared with the adjoining cottage - Milk Parlour. Heating/electricity free.
The cottage has an attractive walled, courtyard style garden, at the rear and there is a lovely fenced area of garden at the front with a lawn, bird table and shrubs. Red Squirrels and a variety of birds are frequent visitors. Garden furniture is provided so that meals can be enjoyed outside. There is a parking area for three cars near the cottage. Regular bus service within 5 minutes walk. Public house within ½ mile. General stores and telephone ¾ mile.
The Hayloft is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at The Hayloft. The Hayloft is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 16:00 and the normal departure time is 11:30.

Godshill is a pretty rural village with a number of thatched cottages and a historic church. A number of boutique shops are now found in the village selling Isle of Wight Glass and other local produce. A couple of public houses provide a good choice of place to eat and drink.

Walk or Cycle to Shanklin - This walk first follows the Stenbury Trail to Wroxall and then the cycle track to Shanklin. To reach the Stenbury Trail from Godshill head out of town along the main road towards Shanklin before turning right after 200 yards onto the trail. Continue up the trail to the Freemantle Gate (photo of the Freemantle Gate) which you pass thought and follow the path which bears left across the fields towards Appuldurcombe and Wroxall. There is a wide flat cycle way that runs from Wroxall to Shanklin. The track starts below the old railway bridge in the centre of Wroxall. If you are walking there is a footpath leading from alongside the bridge to the start of the track but if you are on a bike you must cross the bridge and follow the cycle path signs. Once you are on the track it is clearly signposted all the way to Shanklin. The track runs along the old railway line and the banks on either side are lined with lush vegetation.

Two medium sized dogs are welcome and the back garden is walled. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the cottage and not to allow them to foul the garden. Puppies and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.

The delightful cottage Hayloft and the adjoining cottage Milk Parlour are converted from farm buildings in a pretty setting on a non working farm; they are situated on the outskirts of Godshill up a private lane next door to a riding school.
All guests are provided with written directions to the cottage.

The nearest village of Godshill is accessible by car- approximately 2 miles; there is a newsagents, a general store, tea rooms, and public houses.
Provisions can be obtained from Co-op in Rookley, a 2 minute drive up the road.

There are no bedrooms on the ground floor.
There are 3 bedrooms on the first floor. All bedrooms are carpeted.
All bedding is cotton with all types of pillows available.
Bedroom 1 has a double bed, there is a flat screen television in the bedroom.
Bedroom 2 has a 4 foot bed.
Bedroom 3 has 2 single beds.
The bathroom facilities are on the ground floor.
The bathroom has a bath with a shower over.
Self catering kitchen
The kitchen is on the ground floor and is all one level
The taps are screw on/off
The worktop is at a standard height.
Catering standard crockery is provided in the wall cupboards. Glasses and cups etc are in the wall cupboards. Pans and cooking pots/dishes are in the lower kitchen units.
There is an integrated fridge with a small freezer compartment.
The kitchen is lit by spotlights. The flooring is wood laminate.
There is a digital radio in the kitchen.
The laundry room is at the rear of the property shared with the adjoining cottage. It has a washing machine and tumble dryer. The tumble dryer is operated with a coin meter. Two draws of a freezer are available for use in laundry room.
Grounds and gardens
There is a small enclosed lawned garden at the rear with a garden table and chairs and a small BBQ and washing line.
At the front of the cottage there is a small walled pretty garden.
No smoking is allowed in the house.
Pets are allowed in the house at an additional charge.
