Spring Cottage stands in an idyllic location, within a 2 minute walk of the beach in the pretty seaside village of Bonchurch on the south east coast of the Island. The cottage enjoys beautiful sea views from most rooms and from its enchanting garden. Bonchurch is a peaceful village with a small shop, public house, good restaurant and two ancient churches plus a pretty pond which is home to carp, ducks and a variety of birds.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an ‘Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty’. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away.

Puckaster Cottage is a lovely cottage in an attractive courtyard within the grounds of Puckaster House . The main house is surrounded by six acres of garden with lovely lawns going down towards the sea. There are sea glimpses from some of the upper rooms of the cottage and open sea views from the larger gardens. The sea is within a 15 minute walk and there is easy access to the wonderful coastal path which extends from the village of Niton to The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight. The small resort of Ventnor is within a 15 minute drive and there is easy access to a number of small quiet bays on the south west side of the Island.

This delightful stone cottage which dates back to 1761 is built of Isle of Wight chalk and brick. It is situated in lovely countryside on an attractive farm at Merstone. The picturesque village of Godshill is nearby and the sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

St Catherines Cottage has been in the same family for three generations and enjoys an exceptional position with views across the lovely garden to the sea. There are sea views from several of the rooms including the sitting room, dining room and two main bedrooms.

Delightful walks can be enjoyed directly from the cottage and footpaths can be followed to join the Bembridge Trail over the downs. Squire Thatcher's Barn has been carefully converted from an 18th Century Grade II Listed stone barn.

This wonderful property is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. It has recently been converted from a large old granary, the foundations of which date back to the 1700s. A fire in 1889 resulted in much of it being rebuilt. Redway Manor Granary has been renovated with the greatest care and wherever possible original features have been retained. There are beautiful views across the fields and nearby lakes to the downs. The sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

This charming stone villa stands in the pretty old village of the coastal resort on Shanklin on the south east side of the Isle of Wight. The lovely garden of the property adjoins Shanklin Chine which provides a beautiful walk down to the sea. The delightful sandy beach of Shanklin is within a 5 minute walk. Here the sand gently slopes into the water - swimming, paddling and boating. can be enjoyed.
Hadfield Cottage is situated in the picturesque historic village of Bonchurch and is less than 5 minutes walk down to the sea. This coastal village enjoys a wonderful air of tranquillity with its traditional stone cottages, 11th century church and pretty village pond – home to ducks, moorhens and carp. A public house and a good restaurant are within 5 minutes walk. This is a delightful walking area with a beautiful section of the island coastal path linking Bonchurch with Luccombe and Shanklin. It is a pleasant 20 minute stroll to the popular Victorian resort town of Ventnor. From here, the coastal path continues to Steephill Cove and the renowned, Ventnor Botanical Gardens.
This traditional stone cottage nestles within a private, walled garden in the grounds of Winterbourne, the Georgian house occupied by Charles Dickens and his family in 1849. It was here that the author wrote five chapters of his novel, David Copperfield.
Hadfield Cottage is well appointed and provides comfortable accommodation in 4 bedrooms. It is furnished in a traditional style and is centrally heated. Upstairs there is a charming double bedroom and single bedroom plus a bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and WC. On the ground floor there are another two lovely bedrooms - a double room with French doors which open onto a patio and garden, an attractive twin bedroom; a well equipped tiled shower room with a walk in shower, basin and WC; a spacious open plan living room with comfortable sofas and chairs, television/Freeview/DVD and windows overlooking the front garden and also the sunny rear patio garden to the historic Undermount once the home of Queen Victoria’s Lady in Waiting. There is a pleasant dining area adjacent to the sitting room and a split level fitted kitchen equipped with an electric oven and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and breakfast area beside the window. A washing machine/tumble dryer are also provided in separate utility area. (Please be aware that there are internal steps in the property). Heating and electricity without extra charge. Telephone and WiFi internet available. Highchair and wooden cot can be provided.
Hadfleld Cottage has a large walled courtyard garden at the front of the cottage which is completely enclosed. This is a gravelled area with extensive flower beds and a patio area with garden furniture. There is also a sunny paved terrace at the rear of the cottage, with a garden table and chairs, which can be accessed via a Dutch door. Private space for parking two cars is available just outside of the walled courtyard in the drive of Winterbourne. There is a regular bus service within a 10 minute, uphill walk.
For Christmas there are decorations and a christmas tree provided.
Hadfield Cottage is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Hadfield Cottage. Hadfield Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

The historic seaside village of Bonchurch is a charming holiday location on the South of the Isle of Wight. The little village has a sand and shingle beach as well as a beautiful centre arranged around the village pond. The 11th century church in Bonchurch is well worth a visit. The coastal path from Bonchurch is a quick route into Ventnor and the walk takes around 15 to 20 minutes.

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.

One large or two small dogs welcome by agreement, and the garden is fenced and walled. Visitors are asked not to allow dogs upstairs or on the furniture. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the property and not to allow them to foul the garden. Puppies under 12 months and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date. Kindly bring your own dog baskets. We regret that cats are not permitted.
