This picturesque Grade II listed cottage dates back to 1676 and is attractively situated at the end of a quiet lane with a lovely ford and footpath leading to the nearby medieval castle of Carisbrooke. Located in the oldest part of Carisbrooke village which is a conservation area lying within ‘An area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. The castle is only 5 minutes walk away and can be glimpsed from the garden and main bedrooms. This is a wonderful walking area as within 5 minutes walk of the cottage visitors can join the famous Tennyson Trail which follows the downs westerly towards The Needles.

This wonderful property is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. It has recently been converted from a large old granary, the foundations of which date back to the 1700s. A fire in 1889 resulted in much of it being rebuilt. Redway Manor Granary has been renovated with the greatest care and wherever possible original features have been retained. There are beautiful views across the fields and nearby lakes to the downs. The sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive.

This lovely thatched cottage dates back to 1701. It is full of character with exposed beams, inglenook fireplaces. It stands in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty' with views of Brighstone Downs. The pretty village of Brighstone village with its tea rooms, public house and village shops is within a 15 minute stroll. The cottage is only a mile from the coast and here there are several quiet sandy coves.

Lovely traditional thatched cottage situated within a few minutes walk of the centre of the lovely village of Brighstone on the south west side of the Isle of Wight. The village is renowned for its pretty centre with several thatched stone cottages. There is also a public house and a small bistro/tea shop. The beach at Brighstone is within a pleasant 15 minute walk. This is also a wonderful walking and cycling area with easy access to the coastal path plus the beautiful downs which link Carisbrooke and The Needles on the western tip of the Isle of Wight.

The Manor House is surrounded by lovely gardens which the cottage overlooks. Bridgecourt Manor Cottage is a stone cottage, converted from an ancient forge which dates back to the 1600’s. It provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 5 people in 3 bedrooms.

Within a 2 minute walk of an attractive beach on the beautiful south west coast of the Isle of Wight. Here visitors can enjoy swimming, fishing and paddling. The cottage stands on high ground and there are sea and coastal views from the property. Visitors can relax in the sitting room or on the balcony and watch the sailing boats pass by.

This lovely stone cottage nestles in beautiful countryside on an attractive farm on the East side of the Island. There are wonderful open views from the cottage and garden across fields towards the downs. The Old Brew House is at the end of a country lane with no passing traffic. This is a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading along the course of the River Yar and to the nearby picturesque village of Godshill. There is direct access across the fields to the cycle track which links Sandown to Newport and Cowes. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are only a 15 minute drive away.

Rectory Cottage is close to the centre of the pretty village of Brighstone on the south west coast of the Isle of Wight in 'An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. It is only a mile from the sea and is in a wonderful walking and cycling area. The cottage has recently been renovated to provide very attractive centrally heated accommodation with a walled courtyard style garden. There are lovely open views across fields to the downs and with glimpses of the sea from the upper bedrooms.

Manor Stable is situated on a lovely farm in beautiful South Wight countryside. It is a marvellous walking area with footpaths that can be followed directly from the cottage in most directions. There are particularly attractive walks along the course of the river Yar; to the picturesque village of Godshill and to the nearby village of Arreton which has a public house, farm shop and cafe for meals. The cottage is excellent for cyclists as there is access to a network of cycle paths directly from the farm and arrangements can be make for the storage of bikes. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a 15 minute drive.
Dairy Cottage is a period stone farmhouse on a small farm where horses are now kept. It is an attractive property with some rural views over fields to the downs and glimpses of Carisbrooke Castle from the master bedroom. The castle is within a 15 minute walk of the cottage. This is a lovely area which is popular with walkers who hike the numerous paths and trails. Local walks include the Tennyson Trail which runs all the way to Freshwater and The Needles. Cycle routes across the downs also start nearby. Visitors have the whole of the Isle of Wight at their doorstep as this central location affords easy access to all locations on the Island and puts any beach on both the East and West coast within a 20 minute drive.
Dairy Cottage is a property with many original features and has been decorated and furnished with care. On the ground floor there is a spacious sitting room which has a large fireplace with a wood burning stove creating a rich homely feel to a comfortable and relaxing room with leather sofas and chairs, flat screen television/Freesat/DVD; a fitted kitchen equipped with electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine; an attractive twin bedroom with an adjacent shower room with basin and WC; a large conservatory with comfortable seating and french doors opening into the garden. (Access to the conservatory is through the twin bedroom).
Stairs lead up to two further charming bedrooms - a second twin bedroom and double room. Both of these bedrooms enjoy rural views and there are glimpses of nearby Carisbrooke Castle from the double bedroom. There is also a second bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and w.c. A door which leads to the rear of the property from the landing affords level access to the top floor of Dairy Cottage. Central heating/electricity without extra charge. Wooden cot/high chair available.
Dairy Cottage has an enclosed garden and a patio area with garden furniture. There is a barbeque and seating area to enjoy outside dining as well as a grassed area for children to play. Public house within 15 minutes walk. Shops, another public house, Italian restaurant and a small supermarket in Carisbrooke Village centre - 20 minutes walk.
Dairy Cottage has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Dairy Cottage. Dairy Cottage is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:30 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from 18th February 2017 to 30th March 2017 and 28th October 2017 to 17th December 2017.

The villages of Carisbrooke is located at the heart of the Isle of Wight and is best know for the remains of Carisbrooke Castle which sits on the hill above the village. A small shop and a post office can be found in the village as well as a couple of public houses. A footpath runs from just outside the village all the way to Alum Bay in the far West of the Island.

Tennyson Trail - The Tennyson Trail starts on the edge of Carisbrooke and runs all the way along the Downs to Freshwater Bay and then up to The Needles and Alum Bay. This spectacular trail is a substantial walk but there is a bus back to Carisbrooke from Freshwater and Alum Bay. Tennyson Trail
The centre of the Isle of Wight is best known for its historic monuments and beautiful countryside. The hills in this area are great for walking and exploring and paths fan out across the Isle of Wight. Carisbrooke, Bowcombe and Blackwater are found to the South and West of Newport. These small villages and Hamlets have unique access to all areas of the Isle of Wight and the sea is always less than 20 - 25mins away by car.

Two dogs are welcome and the back garden is fenced and walled. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. We also ask owners not to leave dogs on their own in the cottage and not to allow them to foul the garden. Puppies and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.
