Lovely farm cottage with delightful rural views across lakes to the downs beyond. The picturesque farm is in a wonderful cycling and walking area with direct access to a network of cycle paths, footpaths and bridleways, and private access to the Stenbury Trail which ultimately extends from Cowes to the coast at Ventnor. The Tennyson Trail extending to the western tip of the island is also easily reached. The cottage has been furnished and equipped with care to a high standard and offers charming accommodation in beautiful surroundings with ducks, swans and a huge variety of other wildlife including red squirrels as constant visitors. Horses are kept on the farm and trout fishing can be arranged. The central location of the cottage makes it an ideal base for touring the island.

This lovely stone cottage occupies an attractive position in a quiet country lane, on the outskirts of Godshill. It has been converted from the original milking parlour of Lower Yard Farm and the building is thought to date back to the 1700 ‘s. A small riding stables is within a few minutes walk and most of the surrounding fields are home to horses. The centre of the picturesque village of Godshill, with its pretty thatched cottages, restaurants and tea shops is only 3/4 mile away.

Mead Cottage is attractively situated on a 12 acre farm on the edge of the small rural hamlet of Alverstone in “An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty”. This is a wonderful position for outdoor pursuits, walking, cycling, fishing and golf. In the village there are lovely water meadows and fishing ponds with hides for bird and red squirrel watching. There are many footpaths leading up on to the downs and towards the coast.

Located in the grounds of an old manor house in beautiful South Wight countryside near the picturesque village of Godshill. The Manor House is surrounded by lovely gardens which the cottage overlooks. Bridgecourt Manor Cottage is a stone cottage, converted from an ancient forge which dates back to the 1600’s. It provides attractive and comfortable accommodation for 5 people in 3 bedrooms.

Dairy Cottage is an attractive stone cottage enjoying rural views and with glimpses of Carisbrooke Castle from the master bedroom. The castle is within a 15 minute walk. The cottage is located at the heart of the Isle of Wight and within a short drive of the coast in any direction. Local walks follow the top of the Downs as far as Freshwater and Alum Bay and enjoy wonderful views all along the way.

Fodder Stable is on a lovely farm in beautiful countryside. From the cottage there are views across the fields to the downs of Ventnor in the distance. This is a wonderful walking area with footpaths leading from close to the cottage towards the picturesque village of Godshill or the coastal village of Niton. There is also easy access to the cycle route which crosses the Island. The sandy beaches of Sandown, Shanklin and Ventnor are all within a 15 minute drive.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

Rosemary Cottage is situated on a delightful farm in one of the loveliest parts of the Isle of Wight lying at the foot of Appuldurcombe Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. A pleasant ten-minute stroll through the beech copse and across the fields leads to the centre of Godshill. This village is renowned for its church and pretty thatched cottage.

This lovely character cottage, situated on a small 40-acre farm at Blackwater, enjoys a central position on the Island. It provides an ideal base in both winter and summer for touring. Nearby is Newport, the main market town on the Isle of Wight with its medieval castle and pleasant shopping centre. The seaside towns of Shanklin and Ventnor are only a 10 - 15 minute drive away. More secluded beaches on the west side of the Island are also easily accessible. Visitors can walk directly from the cottage over the nearby Downs or follow the extensive Stenbury and Worsley Trails. In addition there is an extensive interlinking network of cycle routes within a two minute ride of the cottage. This offers easy access to Sandown, Newchurch, Newport and Cowes.
Stone Farm is a character cottage adjoining the farmhouse. It has been renovated to a high standard and is very well equipped and centrally heated. Electricity, heating, bed linen and towels free of charge. The accommodation is as follows: double doors lead from the hall into a light and attractive sitting room with partly panelled walls, log burning effect fire, and comfortable seating, plus television/Freeview/DVD. There is a fitted kitchen with split level electric oven and hob, microwave, refrigerator and dishwasher; a pleasant dining area beside a window; a utility room with a washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer; a ground floor shower room with a built in shower, basin and w.c. Stairs lead up to a bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and w.c. and two attractive bedrooms - one double room with fitted wardrobes and the second is a lovely large room which easily accommodates three single beds. A high chair and travel cot are also available. There is a delightful secluded fenced garden adjoining the cottage, with a lawn and patio area where guests can relax, enjoy a barbecue, and children can play games. Garden furniture and a parasol are provided. WiFi internet available.
The Cottage is situated on a working farm. There are several horses which are kept at livery. Guests can ride at nearby stables. Parking space for two cars close to the cottage and also undercover storage for bicycles available. Good public transport service to most parts of the island within 5 minutes walk, Indian restaurant within 15 minutes walk; farm shop ¼ mile. General stores 1 mile.

Blackwater is found on the way to Shanklin from Newport. This rural area has excellent road access to almost anywhere on the Isle of Wight making it a great place to base a holiday exploring the Isle of Wight. A major bike or cycle path runs right through Blackwater which leads to the East coast or inland to Newport.

The centre of the Isle of Wight is best known for its historic monuments and beautiful countryside. The hills in this area are great for walking and exploring and paths fan out across the Isle of Wight. Carisbrooke, Bowcombe and Blackwater are found to the South and West of Newport. These small villages and Hamlets have unique access to all areas of the Isle of Wight and the sea is always less than 20 - 25mins away by car.

Two dogs accepted at the property and the garden is fenced. Pets are not permitted upstairs, on the furniture or in the bedrooms. A third dog may be accepted by prior agreement. We ask owners not to allow their dogs to foul the garden. Dogs can be left alone in the utility room for short periods of time if they are not noisy or destructive. Puppies and also dogs with incontinence problems are not permitted without specific agreement. Please ensure that your pet's treatment for the prevention of fleas is up to date.
