Milton Stables is situated on the south west side of the Isle of Wight within a 5 minute walk of Freshwater Bay, Tennyson Down and the coastal path which is particularly dramatic on its route westwards to The Needles. It is a detached property which has been converted from original stables - renovated with care to provide spacious, light and comfortable accommodation for 4 people with a large plan open plan living room with doors opening onto the courtyard garden; a fitted kitchen, and wet room. There is a ground floor twin room and upstairs there is a double bedroom with en-suite bathroom and a small sitting room. The cottage has an enclosed courtyard which is fenced and gated.

Apple House is situated on the west side of the island, within a 10 minute walk of the beach at Colwell Bay. Here swimming, paddling, fishing and boating can be enjoyed. Totland Bay is also within easy walking distance. The coastal path from this area can be followed westward to Alum Bay, Tennyson Down and The Needles - a wonderful walking area with panoramic sea views. The centre of Freshwater is also within a 10 minute walk.

Lovely stone cottage within an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty and only a 15 minute walk from the beach at Brook on the West Coast of the Isle of Wight. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area and there are spectacular views of the sea and the white cliffs of Tennyson Down from the farm.

This is a picturesque thatched cottage in the peaceful village of Newbridge, at the heart of rural West Wight. It is situated in a country lane leading to a farm track and there is little passing traffic. Local footpaths lead to Shalfleet Creek and to the Tennyson Trail, from which there are spectacular views across the Solent and the South Coast.

Tennyson Wing is beautifully situated in a lovely rural location above Alum Bay and enjoys panoramic views of the nearby downs and across fields to the sea. This is a wonderful walking area within a two minute walk of Tennyson Down and a nearby footpath leads to the coastal path. Tennyson Wing is the first floor south west wing of a large detached property with a wonderful large terrace where meals can be enjoyed. It has two bedrooms - a twin room and a double bedroom with a king size bed and en-suite shower room; family bathroom; fitted kitchen; charming sitting room and dining area. Sea views from most main rooms. Only a short drive from several sandy coves on the west side of the island.

The Granary is a charming cottage, which has been carefully converted from the wing of a large ancient barn dating back to the 17th Century - Ningwood Green Barn. It is nestled in lovely peaceful West Wight countryside. This is a lovely walking area and is not too far from the coastal path.
Bayside is a lovely detached bungalow, within a 3 minute walk of the sea at Colwell Bay, on the west side of the Isle of wight. This is a wonderful walking area with the coastal path offering easy access via Totland Bay and Alum Bay to The Needles, on the western tip of the Isle of Wight, and the beautiful Tennyson Down which drops down into Freshwater Bay. Colwell Bay is a quiet coastal spot with a sandy beach at low tide where visitors can swim and paddle. There is an attractive cafe, bar and restaurant with views across the bay plus a small shop. The promenade can be followed around to Totland Bay. Nearby is the attractive harbour and sailing centre of Yarmouth with its various restaurants, cafes and small shops. Boat trips and fishing can also be enjoyed here. The small town of Freshwater with its shops, fresh fish, public houses, sports centre with swimming pool and a golf club is also within a few minutes drive.
Bayside has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and offers very attractive, comfortable accommodation for four people. There is a delightful double bedroom with a king size bed, dressing area and en-suite shower room with built in shower, basin and wc; a charming twin bedroom with a wardrobe and chest of drawers plus easy access, across the hall, to a lovely tiled bathroom with a ¾ bath, overhead shower, basin and w.c. There is an additional a cloakroom with w.c. and basin. Televisions with Freeview/DVD players are provided in both bedrooms. There is a well equipped fitted kitchen with a double oven and grill, ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher, Espresso pod coffee machine, fridge freezer and washing machine; a separate small utility area with a tumble dryer and space for coats/boots; a charming sitting room with a leather sofa and arm chairs, a flame effect fire, ‘smart’ high definition television with Freeview/Blu-ray DVD player and patio doors opening into a delightful conservatory style dining room with a lovely oak dining table and chairs. The dining room is heated and ceiling/window blinds prevent this room from becoming too hot in summer. French doors open from here into the garden. The accommodation is all on one level apart from one step into the conservatory. Central heating, electricity and WiFi without extra charge. A travel cot/high chair can be made available for babies under 12 months.
Bayside has a lovely fenced and gated garden with a variety of shrubs and flowers plus outside furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. There is also a summer house for visitors to enjoy. Birds feeders and a bird bath encourage a good selection of garden birds.(Please be aware that the main garden is accessed by five steps with a rail and there is an unfenced drop of 29 inches to the side of the steps). A gated and covered area is available for the storage of bikes or canoes. Parking is available for 2 or 3 cars in the gravel drive at the front of the property. Regular bus service within a few minutes walk.
Bayside has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided free of charge at Bayside. Bayside is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Saturday to Saturday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00. Short break weekend and midweek self catering holidays are available from and 28th October 2017 to 20th December 2017.

Totland is a small seaside village on the West of the Isle of Wight. The beach at Totland is a hidden gem of the Island and mostly frequented by local people. The beautiful bay has a mix of sand and shingle and so very comfortable for sunbathing or swimming from. The neighbouring bay of Colwell Bay is also within easy reach and here you get wonderful views of the mainland and the historic coastal defences.

Totland Beach - The beach at Totland is a long shingle beach with patches of sand. The position of the beach means it received more of the afternoon sun than beaches on the East of the Isle of Wight and therefore remains popular in the evenings with people looking out at the sea view and the mainland beyond. The ride starts in Freshwater Bay, joins a cycle track on the edge of Freshwater town going to Yarmouth. After seeing Yarmouth, with it's castle and boutique shops, the route continues to Totland and Totland Bay, where there is a beautiful beach, and on towards Alum Bay where we turn back towards Freshwater.

The West of the Isle of Wight is best known for its unspoilt nature and dramatic coastline. The areas is far less commercialised and the many of the beaches can be enjoyed almost to ones self. West Isle of Wight beaches include Totland Bay, Freshwater Bay, Compton Beach, Brook Beach and Bembridge Beach.
