Sea Whisper is a semi detached property standing within a 7 minute walk of the sandy beach of Shanklin - a lovely bay with sand gently sloping into the water. The property is also within a 5 minute walk of the small shops, restaurants, public houses and entertainments of the resort and the pretty Old Village of Shanklin with its thatched cottages and beautiful Chine. Visitors can walk down to the sea or take a lift from the cliff top. There are views across the town with glimpses of the sea and Culver Cliffs from several of the rooms and from the charming balconies which can be accessed from the sitting room and twin bedroom. There is also a sunny terrace at the rear of the property with garden furniture so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. The property has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard and offers delightful accommodation.

This lovely stone cottage was originally a large and ancient stone barn at Sainham Farm. It is situated in the attractive courtyard and has marvellous open views from the rear across the fields to the downs. Stag Cottage is in one of the loveliest parts of the Island lying at the foot of Appuldurcome Down and above the picturesque village of Godshill in ‘An Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty'. Godshill can be reached by taking a pleasant stroll through the beech copse and across the fields. The village has a variety of tea shops and restaurants as well as two public houses.

Shiloh is a Grade II listed barn which has been converted into a lovely 2 bedroom, single storey, cottage. It is situated in delightful countryside between the villages of Godshill and Whitwell and is only a 5 minute drive from the coast. The seaside resort of Ventnor is 5 km away and the sandy beaches of Shankllin and Ventnor are within a 10 to 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking and cycling area with direct access to a network of footpaths including a wonderful walk along the River Yar which extends from its source in Niton on the south coast to Bembridge, with its beautiful wetland area in the east. The cottage has a secure fenced garden and is well equipped.
Baltija is beautifully situated in the wonderful semi rural coastal area of St Lawrence on the south of the Island. St Lawrence is renowned for it mild climate and is an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty. Lanes and footpaths can be followed directly from the property to the sea at Woody Bay which is a ten to fifteen minute walk away. The attractive small seaside resort of Ventnor is within a 10 minute drive and rather closer is the attractive Ventnor Botanical Garden and Steep Hill Cove - a particularly lovely sandy cove with a restaurant and tea shop. The larger sandy beaches and resorts of Sandown & Shanklin are within a 20 minute drive. Visitors also have easy access to the small coves and beautiful countryside on the west side of the Island.
Baltija is a delightful detached south facing property set within its own large private garden. It is one of only 4 properties in a private close in the extensive grounds of an old rectory. It occupies a peaceful and secluded position with no passing traffic. The property has been in the same family for a number of years and has been furnished and equipped with care to provide spacious, comfortable accommodation for 6 people in 4 bedrooms. The accommodation is all on one level and is centrally heated, with fitted carpets and large double glazed windows. There is an attractive open plan sitting room with picture windows overlooking the garden, comfortable sofas and chairs, a television/DVD/Freeview; a pleasant dining area where visitors can enjoy meals; a separate fitted kitchen equipped with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, fridge freezer, dishwasher and washing machine. A door opens from the kitchen into the garden. The property has two double and two single bedrooms. A travel cot and high chair can be provided if required. There is a bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and WC and a separate shower room with a built in shower, basin and WC. Basins are also provided in both of the double bedrooms. Heating, electricity and WiFi internet are provided without extra charge. A pay telephone is available for incoming calls.
The property has a fenced and gated secluded garden where visitors can relax and children can play games. (Please be aware that there are water butts and different levels in the garden so children do need to be closely supervised). Garden furniture is provided so that meals can be enjoyed in the sunshine. Three or four cars can be parked in the drive. Public transport one mile. Post office with village shop 10 minutes walk, as well as general stores at Ventnor and Niton. Public houses and restaurants within 10 minutes drive. The market town of Newport with its wide range of shops and impressive castle of Carisbrooke is within a 30 minute drive. Nearby places to visit include Blackgang Adventure Park and St Catherine’s lighthouse.
Baltija has ground floor accommodation and is a non smoking cottage. WiFi Internet is provided at Baltija. Baltija is available for weekly self catering holiday bookings from Friday to Friday. The normal arrival time at this holiday cottage is 15:00 and the normal departure time is 10:00.

St Lawrence is a seaside village just outside of Ventnor on the South East of the Isle of Wight. The village has great access to the sea via the coastal path. Nearby bays of include Steephill Cove which has a pretty beach as well as a cafe and a restaurant.

The South of the Isle of Wight is a wonderful mix of pretty beaches and dramatic coastal landscape. The sand and shingle beach at Ventnor is one of the more popular holiday locations but hidden gems such as Bonchurch and Steephill Cove are really worth a visit too.
The coastal path around the South Coast of the Isle of Wight is a particularly beautiful stretch to explore and passes a number of attractive sites which include Steephill Cove, Orchard Bay and St Catherine's Light House at Niton Undercliff. Some of this area has been prone to erosion so you must stick to the footpath and take heed of diversions.
