The beach at Toland Bay beach is popular with families because of the dramatic setting and peaceful, laid back atmosphere. The shingle and sand beach is long but narrows as it extends West towards Alum Bay.
Facilities at the beach include a couple of small restaurants and a small shop/stand selling ice-cream and snacks. The Waterfront Bar & Restaurant at the Westerly end of the beach serves locally caught fish and food reared or grown on the Isle of Wight.
It is possible to park at the small number of spaces down by the sea but alternative parking is available above the beach front and a path takes you down the cliff to the sea.
Notices explain beach safety are found at Totland Bay Beach. It is important to read about the local conditions and how to stay safe. Public toilets are available at Totland Bay Beach.
Getting There: Totland Bay is on the West coast of the Isle of Wight on the road between Yarmouth and Alum Bay. To reach the seafront by car drive into Totland Village from Yarmouth and turn right (third exit) at the roundabout continue onwards till you reach the sea.
