St Helens Beach a beauitful beach of sand with a little shingle which runs from the mouth of Bembridge Harbour towards Seaview. The beach is popular with families who want a fairly peaceful place to enjoy the sea away from the main resorts.
There is a cafe (Baywatch On The Beach) serving hot food and refreshments located a little way along the beach. There is a small shop in the village is St Helens but if you want to bring a picnic to the beach you might prefer to travel in to neighbouring Bembridge where there is a delicatessen and small supermarket.
St Helens Beach is over 800 meters long and never seems crowded. Parking is limited to the spaces behind the seafront and on a small stretch of the road. There is a charge for parking by the seafront. In the height of the season the car park can fill up but you can park in the village and walk down via the footpath.

Getting There: St Helens is on the East coast of the Isle of Wight between Bembridge and Seaview. To reach the seafront by car drive through St Helens in the direction of Seaview but turn right where the main road curves sharply to the left on the edge of the village center. The signposts direct you to the beach.
