Compton Beach is a favourite with regular beach goers and a few local watersports enthusiasts. The beach is peacefull all through the summer there are great views of the white cliffs of Freshwater. The beach is sandy with small patches of shingle.
The beach facilities are limited to a car park, toilets and an ice cream van which is there most of the summer months. Shops for buying a picnic can be found in Freshwater (less than a 5min drive away).

Getting There: Compton Beach is a West Isle of Wight beach between Freshwater and Brook and reached from the Military Rd which runs along the whole length of the West Coast. The car park make a £2.50 charge for parking all day.
