Illuminating historical exhibition around the ruins of a roman villa
This important historical site has been brought to life with the aid of a museum built on stilts above the remains of a Roman villa. This enables you to look down on layout of the structure and see for yourself the important relics in their original position. As you walk though the exhibit you can learn more about the origial functions of the building and about like in the time of the Romans.
After a dose of history and a fresh preceptive on the Isle of Wight's as part of the Roman empire you can relax in the coffee shop and riffle through the selection of Roman themed gifts.
