This delightful cottage has lovely sea views and stands in the beautiful coastal area of St. Lawrence on the South east of the Island. This is an area renowned for its mild micro climate which enables a variety of more tropical plants to be grown at the nearby Ventnor Botanical Garden. The cottage garden is south facing and visitors can watch the sailing boats pass by from the garden and most of the main rooms of the cottage. A small cove for swimming is only a 10 minute walk away and the larger sandy beach of the small seaside resort of Ventnor is less than a 5 minute drive away. There is also easy access to the west side of the island along the picturesque Undercliffe Drive which leads to Niton and onwards to Brighstone, Freshwater Bay and the Needles.
St Rhadagund’s Cottage is, a spacious 4 bedroom property, delightfully situated in a quiet lane. The cottage has been very attractively designed with many large windows and has a lovely light and airy feel. It has been equipped to a very high standard and is beautifully furnished. in a traditional country house style with attractive rugs over polished wood floors on the ground floor and with fitted carpets upstairs. There is a large, open plan, well equipped kitchen with a lovely dining area. The kitchen has modern fitted units, a ‘Belfast’ style sink, dishwasher, refrigerator. (A washing machine, tumble dryer and freezer are accommodated in a separate utility room). French doors open into a delightful sunny conservatory where visitors can relax and enjoy alfresco dining. There is a very pretty sitting room with comfortable sofas, an open fire and a large bay window overlooking the garden with views of the sea. A second smaller sitting room has a sofa and large television/DVD player. Also on the ground floor is a cloakroom with a W.C. and basin. Stairs lead up to 3 beautiful bedrooms – two double rooms with open sea views and a pretty twin room. There is a family bathroom with a bath, built in shower, W.C. and basin. A further small set of stairs leads up to an additional pretty twin bedroom with sloping ceilings and 2ft 6ins beds suitable for children. The cottage is centrally heated. Heating and electricity at no extra cost. A cot/high chair can be provided if required.

The area immediately around the cottage is attractively paved and there is a protected patio, with garden furniture, so that meals can be enjoyed outside. A small flight of steps leads to a gated parking area which can be accessed from the side of the property. There is parking space for a further car in the small drive beside the property. This has an impressive entrance with stone pillars and iron gates. The use of this drive is shared with the neighbouring cottage. There is additional parking space available in a recessed area at the front of the cottage. Bus service and shop/post office within 5 minutes walk.
