Little Dormers is the wing of a lovely detached property with a large garden. It is attractively situated in a quiet close with panoramic sea views and is within a 5 minute walk of the sea and a hotel with restaurant and bar overlooking the promenade. A further 5 minutes will take you to a quiet beach where swimming, paddling and boating can be enjoyed. Here there is also a public house and a pleasant cafe providing refreshments. An easy 20 minute stroll beside the sea takes you into the centre of Cowes - a small town famous as a sailing centre with narrow streets, pleasant small shops and several restaurants. There is easy access to the west side of the Island with its quiet sandy coves.
Little Dormers is completely self contained and in 2006 was renovated to the highest standards, with a wonderful terrace added so that full advantage could be made of the splendid sea views. These views can also be enjoyed from the main rooms inside Little Dormers, so visitors can relax whilst watching a variety of sailing boats and sea craft. A copy of the movements of cruise liners is usually left in the cottage as the ships can offer an added interest as they travel across the Solent after leaving Southampton. Little Dormers provides very attractive and comfortable accommodation for two people which is all on one level. It is centrally heated and has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard. There is a large open plan living room with patio doors opening on to the terrace. This delightful room is furnished with comfortable arm chairs, a flat screen television, Freeview, DVD player and radio/CD/iPod dock. There is a very pleasant dining area and a newly equipped kitchen with lovely beech style units and a granite effect worktop. This is equipped with an electric cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, and refrigerator. Visitors also have access to a washing machine, tumble dryer and fridge freezer. There is an attractive twin bedroom with a lovely, newly equipped, shower room with a power shower, basin and W.C. Heating and electricity at no extra charge. A travel cot/high chair can be provided for babies under 12 months. WiFi internet is available at this cottage.
Little Dormers has an area of decking with garden furniture and visitors are welcome to wander through the beautiful, larger open plan garden of the cottage. A car can be parked in the drive. Bus service and shop within 15 minutes walk.
