This lovely detached Tudor style house stands in a peaceful close of similar properties only 5 minutes walk from the beaches of Seagrove and Priory Bay. These beaches are ideal for swimming, beach sports and sailing. Attractive rock pools also make crabbing a pleasant pastime. Seaview is a quiet seaside village situated on the east side of the Island. There is a pleasant village centre with several shops and a post office. Two of the best hotels/restaurants on the Island are located here. Beautiful coastal walks can be enjoyed to St. Helens and Bembridge.
Langonnet is a substantial property which has been equipped to a high standard with great care and attention to detail. It is very attractively furnished in a traditional style and is centrally heated. Heating and electricity are provided free of charge. On the ground floor there is a spacious hall leading to a large sitting room which is furnished with comfortable sofas, colour television, DVD player and hi-fi. This room also includes an attractive dining area. Patio doors open from the sitting room into the rear garden. Double doors also provide a second entrance into the spacious fitted kitchen which is equipped with an electric cooker and ceramic hob, microwave, dishwasher and fridge freezer plus a pleasant breakfast area by the window. The washing machine and tumble dryer are in a separate utility room. There is a second small sitting room with a comfortable sofa bed and second television: plus a cloakroom with a W.C. Stairs lead up to four very attractive bedrooms – two double rooms, a very pretty twin room and a childrens room with a bunk bed. One of the double bedrooms has a lovely, fully tiled, en-suite bathroom with bath, overhead shower, basin and W.C. There is also a separate family bathroom which is also fully tiled with a bath, overhead shower, basis and W.C. A folding bed, cot and high chair can be provided if required. The house sleeps a maximum of 7 adults and 2 childreh. A telephone is available.
Langonnet has a lovely fenced, secluded garden at the rear which backs onto a copse. Here visitors can relax and enjoy meals in the sunshine. Attractive garden furniture and a barbecue are provided. Two cars can be parked in the drive. A shop, public house and public transport are within 10 – 15 minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include the flamingo park, Osborne House - the Island home of Queen Victoria, the quiet coastal villages of St. Helen’s and Bembridge or the more lively entertainments of Ryde where there is a boating lake, ice rink, theatre and ten-pin bowling centre.
