Harbours Edge Holiday Cottage Bembridge Harbour’s Edge is very attractively situated, beside the water, with beautiful open views to the sea across Bembridge Harbour. It is one of a small number of properties on a causeway, between the harbour and the water meadows, linking the seaside villages of St Helens and Bembridge. The centre of St. Helens, with its attractive village green, public house, shop and restaurants, is within a 5 minute walk. The slightly larger resort of Bembridge with its sandy beach is within a 10 to 15 minute walk.

Harbour’s Edge has been designed to take advantage of the wonderful location with all the main rooms having either sea views or rural views. The house is on three levels. It is semi detached and centrally heated. It has been furnished and equipped with care to provide attractive and comfortable accommodation. Stairs lead up from a large tiled hallway at the entrance to a delightful open plan sitting room. This is a wonderful room with two balconies – one facing towards the Nature reserve and the other to the harbour. It is furnished with comfortable sofas and rocking chairs, a television/freeview/DVD player and a dining area at one end. A door leads from here into a lovely fitted kitchen with an electric double oven and gas hob, microwave, dishwasher and large fridge freezer. Also on this floor is a shower room with a walk in shower/wet room, basin and W.C. Stairs lead up to the upper floor where there are three attractive bedrooms. One bedroom with a kingsize bed, one twin room and one with full size bunk beds. Also on this floor is a bathroom with a bath, overhead shower, basin and W.C. On the ground floor there is a large entrance hall, a utility room with a washing machine/tumble dryer and a garage where bikes can be stored. A folding bed/travel cot/high chair can be provided. Heating/electricity at no extra charge.

At the rear of the house the garden is open plan. There is a terrace with garden furniture and a barbecue so that meals can be enjoyed beside the harbour. Two cars can be parked in the drive. Bus service - 5 minutes walk. Small children need to be closely supervised as there is unfenced access to the harbour and the balconies are not suitable for children.
