The picturesque village of Godshill is nearby and the sandy beaches of Sandown and Shanklin are within a 15 minute drive. This is a wonderful walking area and foot paths can be followed from close to the cottage along the course of the river Yar towards Bembridge and Niton and into the village of Godshill. There is also direct access across the fields to the cycle track linking Sandown and Cowes.
