Cedar Cottage is an attractive white walled cottage situated in a pleasant semi rural location, near the coastal resorts of Seaview and Ryde. The esplanade of Seaview and the beach is less than 500 yards away. Here there is a café/bar, tennis courts, putting and a large playground. A 15 minute stroll along the esplanade leads to the centre of Seaview where there is a variety of good restaurants. The sandy beach of Appley is also nearby and the more lively entertainments of Ryde are only a mile away.
Cedar Cottage has been furnished and equipped with care in a traditional cottage style. It is centrally heated and provides attractive accommodation for 4 people. The cottage has a particularly pretty sitting room with a large fire place, a wood burning stove and an exposed oak floor with a rug. The room is furnished with a sofa, arm chairs and a television with freeview and a DVD player.
Also on the ground floor is a country style kitchen with a tiled floor, an electric cooker and hob, microwave, refrigerator, dishwasher and washer/dryer; a pleasant dining area and a bathroom with a bath, hand shower, basin and W.C. Stairs lead up to a spacious and pretty double bedroom with a king sized bed and a smaller twin bedroom. The stairs and bedrooms in the cottage have cream fitted carpets which give a feeling of comfort and space. Central heating and electricity are free of charge. A folding bed, travel cot and high chair are available. Pets by agreement.
Cedar Cottage has a south facing secluded garden which is fenced and has an extensive lawn and mature shrubs and trees. Garden furniture, a parasol and barbecue are provided. Three cars can be parked in the drive at the side of the cottage. Bus service within 5 minutes walk. There is also a seasonal local tourist train within 5 minutes walk that links Seaview Esplanade with Ryde seafront.
