Brook Lodge is a detached, brick built cottage which is centrally heated, double glazed and well insulated. It has been furnished and equipped to a very high standard, in a traditional style. The accommodation is on one level and all the main rooms overlook the lovely garden at the rear of the cottage. The cottage has a pleasant spacious and light feel. There is a pretty double bedroom with fitted wardrobes and a colour television; a bathroom with bath, built in separate shower, W.C and basin; a well equipped fitted kitchen with an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher, fridge freezer and washing machine. There is also an open plan sitting room with a pleasant dining area. This is a particularly attractive room beautifully furnished with a comfortable sofa, and chair plus a large screen television with a DVD/video recorder. French doors open onto a patio with garden furniture where visitors can relax on sun loungers or enjoy eating outside. The garden is particularly attractive with a large area of lawn, fruit trees and shrubs. It is a haven for a variety of birds including woodpeckers and pheasants.
Brook Lodge is a peaceful retreat. A car can be parked in the drive at the front of the cottage. A folding bed or use of the bed settee can be arranged for an extra person. Public house which is good for meals, telephone and Niton village shop within 10 minutes walk. Bus service – 5 minutes walk. Nearby places to visit include The Botanical Garden which is renowned for its rare plants and mild climate, Steep Hill Cove, Blackgang Chine, Appuldurcombe House and Carisbrooke Castle.
