This charming cottage is nestled in the beautiful East Isle of Wight countryside, adjoining National Trust woodland, renowned for its carpets of bluebells and red squirrels. The cottage commands wonderful views towards the sea and Culver Cliffs as well as of the Ventnor Down. Visitors have the freedom to enjoy over three acres of garden and private woodland. The sandy beach of Sandown is within a seven-minute drive.
Beaulieu Cottage has three pretty bedrooms - one double, one twin and one single room. The latter is reached by passing through the twin bedroom. It has an attractive and comfortable sitting room, with a colour television, video recorder/DVD; a bathroom with bath, hand shower, basin and W.C on the ground floor; a kitchen/breakfast room with attractive fitted units and a hard wood work top, an electric cooker and hob, microwave, dishwasher and refrigerator with freezer section. A washing machine is also provided.
At each end of the cottage there is a sunny conservatory for relaxing and having meals whilst enjoying the beautiful views. Garden furniture is provided. Beaulieu Cottage has been attractively furnished with much care in a traditional style. Electric radiators keep the cottage warm. All heating and electricity free of charge. Telephone available for guests to make outgoing calls. Also a wireless internet (WiFi) connection.
Beaulieu is one of two adjoining cottages and offers a lovely peaceful location for a holiday. There is no passing traffic and wild rabbits, red squirrels and woodpeckers are frequent visitors to the garden. Guests can enjoy lovely walks directly from the cottage by following the footpaths and bridleways through the woods or towards the Downs. Keen fishermen may make arrangements to fish in the lake which is only a 10 minute walk along the lane. Private parking spaces available close to the cottage. Access to the cottage is along a gravel lane. Public transport and food stores within 1½ miles. Smoking and pets are not permitted.
