Traditional and welcoming all year round, Swanage sits at the eastern edge of the Isle of Purbeck, its thriving town centre home to big-name and independent stores that will satisfy every shopper. The sweeping bay here has gently sloping sands and clear waters where visitors of all ages can stroll and swim, while close by there’s a tempting range of restaurants, bars and shops all offering traditional seaside treats. No visit would be complete without a steam railway ride through the countryside to ancient Corfe Castle, 5.5 miles away; Lulworth Cove, famous for its panoramic views, unique geology and crystal-clear waters, is another must-see, just 17 miles along the coast. Head 3.5 miles north of Swanage and you’ll reach beautiful Studland Bay – catch the ferry from here to the exclusive enclave of Sandbanks for a real taste of luxury.

Located within a quiet residential building close to the town and beach, this first-floor apartment is ideal for couples who want to explore the coast and countryside. Once inside, you’ll find a comfortable open-plan living area with seating, TV, DVD, dining suite and kitchen area, all well-lit thanks to a big bay window that offers lovely views across Swanage Bay. For quieter moments, the nearby reading room is ideal – snuggle up on the sofa and you’ll feel a million miles from the everyday! Holidays in Swanage can be as busy or laid-back as you like; however you’ve spent the day, you’ll be pleased to be able to retire to the peaceful bedroom here, where there’s a double bed, TV, sea views from the window and an en-suite shower room. For additional convenience, the apartment also has a family bathroom.

There’s no garden here but the beach is less than 350 metres away and the well-tended Prince Albert Gardens, with their open-air amphitheatre, are close by too.

Flat is situated in a great location close to town centre with amazing views over Swanage Bay. Very comfortable and spacious accommodation for two, benefitting from both an en-suite and separate bathroom as well as a reading room. Well located for local walks and site seeing.

The property, Flat 4 is sold on the website, as coming with a parking place. The parking places, at the back of the property are a joke. Before arriving an email saying that the parking spot will take a small average family car, is of no use, when you've forked out over a 1000 for a flat with a parking spot. I would have struggled to park my daughtRead moreers Toyota Aygo in that spot. The people in flat 5, that you rent, deliberately parked in the wrong spot, meaning no access to parking all week. When I walked up to the office to discuss the matter, I was met with complete apathy. Not interested one iota. Just go and park on the street somewhere, does not compensate for the fact that I had booked a property with a parking spot. I came away to try and de-stress and lower my blood pressure, not have to deal with the stress of finding somewhere to leave my car overnight, whilst inconsiderate clients of yours, do not follow the rules at the flats, park an oversize car, and refuse to cooperate. And before you say that the parking spot next to 4 is 7, the person in 5 blocked the car park, then later parked in 7's spot, blocking reasonable access to bay 4. There are niggles with the property that other people have mentioned in the visitors book, a hot water system that can not cope with 2 people having a shower, without running out of hot water, broken towel rails, a tv that doesn't work in the bedroom etc. The only good thing was the view, and the quick walk into town. Not the relaxing break that I was looking forward to. Hide

The apartment is very well situated with views across the bay over the rooftops. It is 5-minutes walk from all the local shop. It was clean and well appointed with a comfortable bed and as an added bonus it had a spare room and and an ensuite and a bathroom. The sitting room was surprisingly warm on cool autumn days.

The apartment was in a great location, close to both the centre of Swanage and Durleston Country Park. A lovely view of the bay could be seen from the dining area - even better than expected! The quality of the facilities meant that we had a most comfortable stay and would be happy to holiday in the accommodation again.
