This first and second floor apartment has been updated with family holidays in mind. Located in the heart of Swanage and on the edge of the Downs Park, it’s ideally situated with something for everyone right on the doorstep. The sandy beach and town centre is just over 300 metres away, whilst straight opposite the property is a gate leading onto Prince Albert Gardens and Durlston Country Park where you can join the South West Coast Path that takes you along the iconic Jurassic coastline. Swanage itself is a charming Victorian resort and you can have a great day out on the Swanage Railway for a 6-mile journey that takes you through beautiful countryside. Otherwise, why not stroll the pier. The Purbeck Heritage Coast is also nearby, a dramatic stretch of towering cliffs and secluded coves which is perfect for walking, swimming and enjoying the sunshine on finer days.

The apartment is arranged over the first and second floors and every room is an inviting space. Entering the hall on the ground floor, where you can leave your coats, you’ll then make your way up to the first and second floors to find the living spaces and bedrooms. The welcoming sitting room at the front of the apartment is bright and features a period fireplace with electric optiflame 3D inset fire to keep you cosy on winter evenings, and also boasts views of the chalky cliffs out to sea. The room is tastefully decorated with plenty of seating. There’s also a separate and stylish kitchen complete with a breakfast bar and stools as well as a large, more formal dining table for enjoying breakfast before you head out to explore. There’s a hatch here through to the sitting room too so the chef of the group can still join in with the conversation. The apartment also has three cosy and beautifully decorated bedrooms and three bathrooms. Two of the bedrooms are twins, but one has zip-and-link beds which can be joined together for a super-king-size. The last bedroom has a king-size-bed and all rooms have plenty of space to store your belongings. The three bathrooms are all well presented with showers and WCs, with one also having a bath if you fancy a soak.

Outside, the property also benefits from a small courtyard garden which has a table, benches and chairs for al fresco dining There are also loungers for lazy days in the sunshine. It is accessed by going through a gate at the back of the ground floor flat’s car parking space. There are also collapsible chairs and a tray table in the hall if you fancy taking them over to picnic in the park.

Please note there are stairs at this property with stair gates available. Please take care on the stairs and please supervise children.

Lovely accommodation, warm, clean and great setting. Very close to all amenities and coastal walks. Comfortable and high spec furnishings. Enjoyed our long weekend.

Lovely decor and a wonderful location so near the town and beach. Was not as dog friendly as we have had with other cottages so prob should not be advertised as dog friendly but a lovely house and very comfortable bedrooms.

Fabulous location just around the corner from Swanage town centre but with spectacular views. Very comfortable, equipped and presented property. Definitely stay there again. Lots to do and great for walkers.

This is the second time we have stayed in this property. Excellent location, very clean and amazing views. Extremely well equipped and really comfortable beds and bedding. Already planning our next stay! Nice to have a decent size TV to watch films too.

The property description states access to a courtyard and use of a garage however the courtyard access was blocked by the car parking for Flat 1 and use of the garage was blocked by cars parking opposite making it impossible to access the garage. This was very disappointing as parking and outside space were two important requirements for our holidaRead morey Hide

We loved the property and location and had a great holiday. The standard of the property and its internal facilities was excellent. Just one negative piece of feedback, the cleanliness of the over was poor which made us reluctant to use it
