Three cars can be parked just outside the front gate. Visitors should be aware that: this cottage is accessed via a rough stone track of one and a half miles which is not suitable for low profile cars and it is necessary to drive slowly; children need to be closely supervised at all times as although the gardens are walled and gated, they are not secure and the unfenced cliff edge is within a couple of minutes walk; the cottage is not on mains water but has a rainwater system which is stored in large underground tanks and is treated by ultra violet light. An initial supply of bottled drinking water from a nearby mains water supply is left for visitors who have any concerns.
